Thanks to fraidfortherepublic's tip about her son being a PR person for Texas Tech athletics, I was able to find & email him.

It can now officially be a HAPPY Thanksgiving; the Prodigal is found.

BTW, we won a turkey for our dinner from the local newspaper's contest; and I bagged a buck Saturday, so 1 less garden-muncher to feed; the winter wheat finally started sprouting; and after a month, the garlic is putting out roots: all is well in Applegate Ranch land.
