Breaking on Fox.
Makes sense. I don't see the advantage to the White House leaking the affair after the election. Petraeus' testimony on Benghazi should get a lot more attention now. I think they'd much rather be talking about the "fiscal cliff" more than anything related to Benghazi.
But, it doesn't really matter now politically. They kept the lid on it before the election and no matter what happened in Benghazi, it can't harm Obama politically. It could possibly create some baggage for Hillary in 2016, but doubtful any Democrat or swing voters will remember or care then.
ROFLOL: just stop that! :-)
“But, it doesn’t really matter now politically. They kept the lid on it before the election and no matter what happened in Benghazi, it can’t harm Obama politically.”
If the facts remain as we think they are, treasonous offenses occurred, BUT see post #118 on stove-piping.
Not sure. Someone who knows him said he has speaking out through his friends via email and also emailing reporters “as a close unnamed friend/intelligence source.” I forget who and on what show.
What I have noticed are discrepancies in what has been attributed to those sources. My first thought was he should keep a lid on it, but then I got to wondering if he was playing some sort of game with the press and the admin.
LOL!!!

I read/heard that too. Some of his “friends” are definitely sending mixed messages.
So we’ve got a couple (or more) detainees, a missing safe, four dead American (IMO There would have been more if those hadn’t sacrificed their own life) a few suspicious broads (who’s husbands could care less about their activities), and some top official who were entrapped......and a do-nothing congress.....Geez!
Pet could BLOW this thing wide open. Wonder who he went to see on his visit after the fiasco? Were they related to one of the other players? Or was he trying to get the money back?
“safe;” “money” ???
I missed that???
“Pet could BLOW this thing wide open.”
Million $ question! Either way he goes, I am still concerned about “stove-piping.” [see my post 118]
Without a mechanism/OPEN investigation that bridges stove-piping, Congress, the press (i.e., FOX), and the public will only be able to rely on “leaks” and dis-info.
The Congressmen on each of these 3 committees will have no idea what was testified to in the committee hearings they weren’t allowed to attend.
As I stated, “If left to stand, that point alone ensures Benghazi will be buried.”
Could you post a link to that story? Interesting comment, I hope it’s accurate.
Haven’t been able to find too much on it but apparently the spontaneious demonstators took the safe out of one of the facilities..../s
Follow the money. Bribes, payoffs, buy-backs Certainly cannot be done with checks or credit cards.
If you have a ping list please add me!
I don’t really have a ping list, but maybe I should start one. :)
I have so much else going on I just have to STEAL time to read the news on FR. It’s freaking heart stopping and hair raising.... So any and all pings from anyone much appreciated! (esp. from you as you seem to really be where the hot news is.)
Today press conference was nothing more than a series of manipulation.
President Said in News Conf 2pm EST He said to send Help!
President Obama, in a Whitehouse news conference "said" that he ordered help to be sent to Bengazi - like right away----and he would never leave Americans in harms way..
Some pundit remarked that Petraeus would have been watched so closely they would know what he ate for breakfast. Surrounded by WH insiders, not his own advisers, they knew his every move.
Petraues screwed up when he thought he was on the inside of the WH inner circle, thus able to retain his job despite his likely well-known relationship with Broadwell. He screwed up again when he underestimated the cost, and the politics of the Chicago thugs. His ego got the best of him.
I’m inclined to agree with Rush, downplaying anything honorable from Petraeus. Skirting perjury charges is dilemma.
you should!; if you do, please add.
