Somehow, I feel as if I should be apologizing for all of my positive editorials pointing to a Romney victory. But, how can I be expected to apologize for half of the American population who celebrated a GREAT victory of the TAKERS over the MAKERS?
I went to a gun show this weekend and a representative from Cheaper Than Dirt said that they sold one million rounds of ammo last Wednesday.
Yep.
I bought 1,000 .223 and somehow I don’t feel like I have enough >_>

I am still trying to figure out exactly how to respond to the election. I am not going to give up.
We have to accept the reality that America has gradually changed from the America of the founders. The majority of the people do not have the same value system the majority had 200 years ago.
The question is how do those of us who still cling to the concepts that made America proceed. I think on some level it will mean a moral, intellectual and physical separation from the new system. I am still collecting my thoughts on how I might do that.
Be careful and remember that having us voluntarily leave institutions and society is just what they would like.
I purchased 1 box of 45acp which is beyond enemic to 1m rounds..lol. I figured CthanD’s website would probably crash with all the traffic after the election. Some items are starting to show sold out.
I plan on hitting up a gun show in 2 weeks. I bet the prices will be sky high.
You may be right, but I have grown tired of continually running up against a brick wall. If we are going to be part of the system then we have to have some realistic game plan where we can expect some level of success.
I have decided to stand firm on principles. If we are going to lose, at least do it with honor and integrity. I’m not saying we should stupidly choose battles where we are bound to lose but to stand on firm principles when ever we choose to tackle the system.
I made a decision 15 years ago. A commitment. I figured we could fix anything BJ could break but letting the 2nd A go was irreparable. Know I know they can also break us financially but my “line in the sand remains.”
FMCDH. MOLON LABE!
No easy answers. We need a national leader that we all trust in order to coordinate effective resistance.
When I voted early a guy was there with a shirt that said “I’m a maker, not a taker”. The election official told him to take it off. He refused and pointed out it was political. The guy said “But I know who you’re voting for.” The man had to pull the shirt up so the words couldn’t be seen.
Allen West?
Yes!! Please God, yes.
It sure would be nice if we had a national movement for a revolution, so far I see millions of people heavily armed and waiting, unorganized, without a plan or more importantly a leader.
No leadership, no plan, what could go wrong?
bought 9,000 rounds of Remington/CCI .22 rounds and a new Ruger 10/22 with stainless barrel and new Ruger SR 22. Ya never have enough.
I assure you that if there is a plan and a leader it most certainly won’t be discussed here.
I agree with you.
I’m surprised that I am even still posting at FR, its not exactly a place thats secure.
Sadly, when I was 16 years old, I sold my Ruger 10/22 to my brothers father because I needed fast cash at the time.
SO STUPID OF ME.
Luckily he gave that gun to my brother who now owns it, this was before the days of gun registration, so that gun is invisible.
In order to make up for that stupid, stupid move on my part, last year I bought a Ruger sr-22. Good God do I love this weapon! Sadly it is registered, but nonetheless so fun to shoot. Got a red dot scope for it and a bipod, and it is just a machine. It’s so quiet when it fires, all I can really hear is the bolt moving, and it puts bullets through a hole about the size of a quarter at 50 yds on the bipod.
That was money well spent, I will never, ever sell my sr-22!
