The house Republicans need to defund EBT cards if a deal isn't made on Sequestration.
It will happen at some time. Right now, we are geared up to handle the riots. Let's get it on.
Elections have consequences. Those Obama paid voters need to feel some pain. Clubber Lane predicts.... Pain
Make these moochers feel the pain, and let Obozo and his DNC minions in the Senate feel some heat.
GAME ON!
Better now than later.
If you lose your job, through no fault of your own, will you be one of those ‘moochers?’ If someone is homeless, where do they deliver those rations to and what do they cook them on?
I’m convinced the holders of these EBT cards are THE locust swarm spoken of in the Bible.
I love your idea, and you would think that any thinking person would. This forum now has, however, a significant number of looters and leeches who feel quite entitled to those cards. They will flame and call us dreadful names for daring to take away what they are too lazy to work for. Oh, and they have every excuse for why they *can’t* work -— even though there are always jobs for those who truly want to work.
“I like the way you think. I’m gonna be watching you”
PROFESSOR TERGUSON
Let's get down to brass tacks.
Way to gain support with those who already think we are too purist. Attempt to cut off funding to those in the most need. I am sure Harry Reid will go along with that. How about a more moderate proposal? Propose drug testing EBT recipients. If I have to be subject to drug testing to earn a paycheck much of which goes to the government to pay for their EBT, why shouldn’t they have to be subject to drug testing to receive my money? Seems much more reasonable and sets up a better political argument. If they are truly need of my assistance to pay for their food, then so be it. Happy to help. If they are using my money to buy drugs, that’s a different ball game. Much better argument than let the poor starve.
You DO realize how much these “things” purchase, right?
I lost my cool when I saw that the looters could mail a package with them and buy crap-”food” in the convenience store.
Let’s return to breadlines...it was good enough for my grandfather, and the majority of our brethren could use a dose of humility—EBT cards HIDE the fact they exist off other people.
Alot a $5 camp stove and gas cylinder to each person.
EBT cards are WAY TOO EASY. Get rid of them. The soup line proposal is good, too. We can't afford the excessiveness and as the President said, vote for revenge... he didn't say who would be getting the revenge.
And get rid of those damn Obamaphones!
No broke bastard needs a cellphone. Give these people a rotary dial if they need a phone that badly.
Better yet, let’s make congress stay in DC and do their da#% jobs!
First of all, it’s Clubber Lang.
Second of all, you’re dreaming if you think that will EVER happen.
Thirdly, thanks for taking the time to post, and I hope you are doing well.
We are the most charitable nation on earth. If the feds got out of the way, there is no telling what the states and churches would do today as they did in times past.
I don’t do much grocery shopping, so I don’t get to see many food-stampers. But this evening I stopped off at Braum’s (it’s a burger/ice cream/milk&eggs chain) for my weekly milk&eggs, and found myself in line behind one - a nicely-dressed middle-aged woman who swiped her Lone Star card for a bag of ice. Then she walked over to the ice cream bar and paid cash for her sundae. As I drove away, I saw her getting into her late-model PT Cruiser.
“Living in poverty” used to be unpleasant. Today, not so much.
It isn't going to work now because over half of your voters don't yet realize there is a problem. sigh.
Interesting. Just yesterday it occurred to me that if Revelations is true, Mitt had no chance to win.
I think I might get an EBT card so I can stock up on dry goods and other Prep products.
What do you think?
