I don't know out rules on Fox, but suffice it to say they mention a bunch of actors and actresses I have never heard of.

Carrie Fisher for Jabba the Hut.
The lowest bidder?
This will be hard to do, considering how I will expect the original actors reprising their roles, even though that’s rather implausible after all these years.
Whoever they choose have a rather tough act to follow. They should have made sequels before prequels IMO.
Star Wars should have stopped with 3. The real 3. Return of the Jedi.
Star Wars should have stopped with 3. The real 3. Return of the Jedi.
I think they’ve already offered that part to former Clintonista, Robert B. Reich.
It was sort of implied at the end of 6 that Han and Leia would get together. They could include the original actors if they focused on their kids and the next generation. Luke could be married as well, and his kids would be involved, or Uncle Luke can train Leia’s kids like Ben Kenobi did.
Who should play Luke, Leia and Han Solo in ‘Star Wars 7’?
CGI of course!
“runs away”
The SAG-AFTRA members with the highest seniority...
Jaleel White (Urkel) as Lando Calrissian?
Oh, and one thing I am hopeful about is that with new movies coming we may finally get to see the painful and horrifying death of Jar Jar Binks. I really hope they take the opportunity.
That's some spot-on casting, right there...
I take it your not a huge Star Wars nerd like I am, as in the licensed books that have been published since the original trilogy, all of that actually happens! Good predictions!
I have no idea who should play the characters, but there are some people the fans are backing for the important job of director.
One of the names coming up again and again is...Brad Bird. Along with that, Guillermo Del Toro and even Peter Jackson have been mentioned. If you don’t have a good director (and writer for that matter), it isn’t going to matter who they get to play the parts.
Their suggestions:
Nina Dobrev, Lilly Collins, or Rooney Mara as Princess Leia.
Anton Yelchin, Liam Hemsworth, or Emilie Hirsch as Luke Skywalker.
Ryan Gosling as Han Solo ("Hes got the athleticism and the sensitivity too.)
I haven't heard of a single one of these people...and do we really want a "sensitive" Han Solo?
CGI of course!
runs away
Who knows? Considering they now have the power and talent of Pixar to draw from....it may be in the realm of possibility.
The young woman from the Hunger games looks a little like Carrie Fisher in her younger days.
You better keep runnin'! I can't stand CGI Yoda...
