I have cut off all ties to my liberal friends except two. The only way we've remained friends the last four years is to not talk politics because when the least casual political topic arose, we would end up not speaking to each other for weeks. These two are as extreme left-wing as anyone can be. They are extreme morons politically.
The only reason I continued the relationship is that they are good people. I have always believed that they *think* they are left-wingers out of ignorance and possibly are one issue voters as they are two women living together for the last 25 years. If they could just be shown the light, they would vote differently. Perhaps I rationalized the relationship, but they have been good friends to me over the years. The help you bury the bodies type of friends.
They started a food trailer business with $20K seed money from a Conservative. They have since borrowed $2K from a Conservative sister and I have given them $10K. With the economy as it is, it has been a struggle for them.
They admitted tonight that they applied for all the various small business help they thought the Democrats would give them. The only people that helped them were we three Conservatives. Since they believed that Conservatives only cared about themselves and Democrats helped one another, it was a rude awakening. Last week they said they could not in good conscience negate the votes of those that helped them. They decided to stay home on election day.
Tonight they announced they have seen the light. The economy that they had stated in the past was fine, is killing them. They need the economy improved and the kicker... they need less government involvement in their business to succeed! They are voting for Romney on Nov 6.
It has renewed my faith in Americans. If these two are voting for Romney, he should win in a landslide.
My hubby and I have a tradition that when ever a good thing happens to us, we go out and buy a pie to celebrate.
So... Tuesday afternoon we’re going to buy a chocolate cream pie and a bottle of champagne.
And then you have morons like this guy...just found this on Twitter and Facebook: http://barracudabrigade.blogspot.com/2012/11/voter-fraud-alert-wow-obama-supporter.html
I like your style!! going to do the same so we can celebrate together :) those just happen to be two of my fav things..well, three: my hubby, chocolate & champagne!
I’ve been posting a lot of Benghazi stories on FB and asking my veteran friends (lots of who are liberals) how they would feel about their CINC if he left them to die in a foreign country. And if my civilian friends would want this kind of guy running the country.
I actually like 80-90% of Ron Paul's platform; it's the other 10-20% that's really problematic.
The movie: The Hope and the Change is on Hulu for free: tell your friends: http://www.hulu.com/#!watch/409925

Just received that movie in the mail, today. Someone is spending $$ get the message out.
Did you order it or is it a gift?
Didn’t order it. It’s in a slick, nicely printed DVD jacket. I’m going to watch it this weekend.
That is soooooooooo interesting. Do you know who sent it? I wish Romney would buy air time and show it on the tee vee.
But you're probably sane. My brother said he would like to see Moochelle Obama run in 2016. Yeah, he's that kooky.
Great story!
I have always maintained that Liberalism is a sickness for which there is no cure.
I’m glad for you and your friends.
I do not know one single Democrat that is going to vote for Romney. I’m sick of even talking to them, the stupid things they say are pushing me beyond my ability to be civil.
My BIL’s Jewish wife is beyond redemption (politically). I believe I now understand how so many people welcomed Hitler to power. Not why, but I now see how it happened..
If 45% of the people in this country firmly believe that we need a despot and not a functioning Republic, then what hope do we really have in the longer term? I’m frustrated and depressed because I think that even if we win, we still lose. I will never quit, I will fight to the bitter end. But the Huns are at the gates and we seem to be able to only fight delaying actions.
My daughter called from the poll line today. she is flipping her vote to romney this year. she mumbled something like “i just want change.” i was doing cart wheels.
seriously, we have a meeting that night after work....I don't want to go but then I'm too nervous to sit here on FR or watch the tv.....
I'll be heart broken if Mitt doesn't win...
I want to go down to the fancy hotel and celebrate with the local pubs!
That’s very encouraging!! Romney is going to win this thing & I’ll tell you why..I look back on my numerous sales trainings & think of this race as a numbers game..think about it, how many Romney/McCain voters will be switching to Obama this late in the game? My guess is the opposite..& if Independents are clearly polling towards Romney, then it’s over! Don’t mean to sound too optimistic but Romney clearly has the winds blowing in his direction. Just my own thoughts/analysis :)
Oh, yum! Two of my favorite things.
Excellent! Look like they saw reality for what it is and figured things out on their own. That’s the only way the libs will see the truth, unfortunately, there are many who cannot for whatever reason(s) cannot see the truth.
