Emptied one of my compost bins last weekend - 12 wheelbarrows full of rich, black soil into two new raised beds.
Will pull out the rest of my Hot Cherry and Jalapeno peppers this afternoon - below-freezing here in Konnecticut and no sun for the next few days.
Last of the carrots comming out of the ground, too.
And that's it until the spring.

When we get to freezing, I’ll still have some cool crops next to the back patio, backed by a retaining wall and covered with row cover. As temps get lower, I’ll add a layer of straw.
I’ll also grow some spinach,lemmons,peppers and tomatoes indoors.
