The Weekly Gardening Thread is a weekly gathering of folks that love soil, seeds and plants of all kinds. From complete newbies that are looking to start that first potted plant, to gardeners with some acreage, to Master Gardener level and beyond, we would love to hear from you.
This thread is non-political, although you will find that most here are conservative folks. No matter what, you wont be flamed and the only dumb question is the one that isnt asked.
It is impossible to hijack the Weekly Gardening Thread ... there is no telling where it will go and that is part of the fun and interest. Jump in and join us!

Would squirrels do that? I would think they would eat the peanut butter/oatmeal though. You have a mystery! Keep me posted, I am curious.LOL.
The state of my 2013 garlic crop as of 12: 56am this date. It germinated 98.932% which is .032 better than Rush Limbaugh's honesty rating with the Sullivan Group
So it was a RAT?
Not just any Rat GE!!! This guy is half the size of a Possum (almost) I think it is a Wood Rat

Great Pics. Wish I had some of those raspberries. We have tried for 3 years in a row to plant some, but they all have died.
Wild Blackberries and some thornless blackberries have done okay though.
RATS - Don’t remind me. DemocRATS poured out of the woodsheds last yesterday, and I am still in shock.
Awesome pics;
Need advice for trans-planting dwarf blueberries, rasperries, and largger stuff now in 15 gallon tubs, like meyer lemons which shoud look like a tree but looks like a good yielding bush, and a mandarin organge tree with fruit turning orange.

Really need to make a decision.
He filled that hole under and around the plants with topsoil he bought by the truckload from a farm. The blueberries had to have acidic soil which he tested with a tool he got from Walmart. One of the local garden supply stores sold him the stuff to add to the soil.
Hope that helps. Friday I will start a new thread, and maybe one of the more experienced gardeners will have some advice, if you re-post your question. I also rely on College extension office for my state, so you might want to check that out too for your state university
