York County, PA here. Small stream flooding, some out laying areas still without power. Other than that, we’re good.

Not that too many people care, but I am now at a friends using her computer. We lost EVERYTHING Monday @ 3;30 pm. My friend Caren and her lovely husband were the smart ones who learned from that last storm to get a generatorm
My area looks like a warzone, just as I’m sure eveyone else’s does. Trees uprooted, wires down (I keep ducking, don’t know why).
We were outside yesterday w/ the chainsaw (we were trapped in from the downed trees). Once we removed ours, we went to our neighbors to clear their trees and our street.
This is my first contact w/ the outside world...sorry if I sound dramatic but at least I am not crying anymore. Just hope my fellow FReepers are okay and hanging in there.
Looks like we won’t have anything for a couple to a few weeks.
Prayers needed please. There are wires down all over the place....Lord help us when the lines are turned on.

I’m on the North Shore of Long Island, Suffolk County. It really really sucks here.
Central Vermont here. A few trees down and limbs blown off. We lost just before going to bed, and woke up to find it had been restored—presumably clearing a tree off the lines.
We have two adult children living in Brooklyn and one in lower Manhattan, without power. All three went uptown to sleep with friends and get a phone and computer connection. When their jobs re-open, my two daughters will have to walk to work across the Brooklyn Bridge, but it’s not too bad a walk and they are both exercisers.
In the meantime, one of my daughters is actually going to the Cape for a few days to grab a vacation until her job is back in place.
Most bizarrely, my son without power or phone in his apartment met with a friend who flew in from France yesterday, and they went to the opera last night. The Metropolitan Opera is uptown, and I presume in good shape. I haven’t heard yet how it went.

I too live in suffolk county. About a block north of southern state parkway. Thankfully no flooding, but we lost electricity at 10:30am on Monday. Have been without power since. Power lines down in 2 places on my block alone. I’m writing this with my cell phone. My internet connection through my cell phone is very weak. During the storm it was ok. Within minutes of the storm passing, it went from very weak to non existent. It remains that way now. I’m lucky to have access now. No doubt it will go back to being weak. (So people, pardon me if I don’t reply to anybody in a timely manner. I simply cannot. Internet connection too weak most of the time. It’s frustrating to wear my cell battery down while trying to get on a website or thread)
Spending the days reading books, at night reading by candlelight. Waiting for them to restore the electricity. I’m told that will take 7-10 days for my area!
Nothing destroyed. My house withstood the 90mph winds. A few heavy branches fell harmlessly onto the ground in my backyard, far away from the house. Have plenty of food and water for myself.
Worst part for me is the boredom waiting for them to restore power so that I can have back my tv, cable, dvd player, and internet through my desktop computer. Reading books is ok. I love to read, but not all day long, every day.

I’m good. No power and living off a coleman grill radio and flashlight, but im safe.
Power at the office so im fine. Could be a lot worse considering im in the bronx/lower westchester and we got slammed too.
Power is still out in SE Montgomery County, PA and throughout the northern suburban Philly area. Some trees down in my neighborhood. Main hazard around here was falling trees, some areas such as Levittown, PA got utterly hammered in that regard. Still hundreds of thousands in Eastern PA without power, PECO says 80-90 of those who lost power (850,000 for PECO alone) will have power restored by Friday night.

I will call the Public Relations department of as many oil companies as I can to see if they can start sending gasoline tankers up there. Good PR for them. Help for y’all. (win-win)

Central Jersey - power came back last night after 50 hours without. We were pretty well prepared, gas stove and battery lights. Never opened the freezer until the power came back on and everything was semi-frozen - yay! Gas hot water heater has a pilot light and purely mechanical thermostat - hot water throughout - yay! Almost didn’t have water at all though - municipal water tower drained - no electricity for pump and pressure was very low before hook-up to another water company. Lots of water stored already but need to freshen it.
Everyone slept on west side of house - never even heard a couple big trees crack and fall - no houses hit in town, not even a little Cape on a postage stamp lot where an absolutely giant tree fell.
Son was bugging me why don’t we have a generator - told him only four nights out of more than four thousand in this house have we not had power - not worth it. If TSHTF there won’t be gas for long anyway.

Things are all right here in NE Ohio. The house is still standing, the power didn't falter, the 2-1/2" of rain didn't flood the property, and none of our trees fell anywhere near the house.
I'm on my knees thanking God for being spared any damage or flooding.
Central NH lost power for between 12-24 hours. My house had wind for maybe 3 hours and less than 2 inches of rain, but the power still went out for 12 hours at my house. Not much damage around central and southern NH, Manchester and Concord areas. Co-workers haven’t mentioned any damage or flooding. The Merrimack River is maybe a foot higher than usual and running fast.
I’m in the middle of MA, close to the NH border. No issues here at all: it rained. I feel fortunate — although that feeling is fleeting when I remember that I live in a very blue state.
