“Yes, WAY too early.”
Agree completely! As a musician, I know every note of every melody, every note of the harmonies. The endless repetition drives me crazy! And another thing,,, those bins of cinnamon Pine cones are an olfactory assault!

Amen! LOVE Christmas music (But then, I’m the carolling coordinator for our little volunteer group at work!)

Ok then. How about a few selections from Andrea Bocelli followed by the Canadian Tenors then the Chichester Cathedral Choir and finally the Choir of Trinity Church, Wall Street, New York.

I love Christmas and Christmas music (especially instrumentals and Trans-Siberian Orchestra), but it’s too early for me.
Normally I’d say no, but a couple of the stores around here have had Christmas stuff on the shelves since August. In September, Kohls had decorations up, including trees in the entranceway. When you see Christmas for almost half the year, it loses its specialness.

I thought musicians were by definition OCD martyrs for repetition. Shall we practice those scales one more time?

If you spend much Black Friday time in the retail business you reach a point where you never want to hear Christmas music ever again.

Light hearted, changing the subject for just a while ping...
Quite a lot of different opinions for different reasons.

Worked retain one Christmas season for some extra money. Have NEVER been so happy so see Christmas come and go. Left after the first of the next year. Plus I couldn’t afford all the money Mrs. GBC was saving me with the employee discount. :)

There are a number of cell phone videos on Youtube with marginal quality audio/video. This link is somebody's home made animation, so while the video isn't that great, the audio quality is excellent:
