Ep 7, 8 and 9 were supposed to be the further adventures of Luke and his friends. They will introduce a new device -- the "light walker."

I am excited about this as well. Get the right director behind this and it could be very good. Looks like Lucas has written the outline for the next 3 movies. He tells about the sale to Disney and the future of the movies at the link:

I have been waiting for this type of news for 20 years. Just don't be surprised if your reaction to ep. 7 is like that of an adult who, in a fit of nostalgia, go out an buy a Twinkie hoping it will be as delicious as they remember it being in their youth only to suffer the revelation that it is the worst piece of crap they ever put in their mouth and what were they thinking.

The Return Of The JedCome and listen to a story about a Jedi named Jed
went thru the galaxy trying to keep his family fed
then one day was crusing by the moon
he saw a cute alien and said vava voom
nice figure she has
moons over Miami
unattached.
That's enough for now.

I don’t know about all that...that’s like re-casting the original Star Trek crew...oh, wait

I’m thinking Olivia Wilde as Mara Jade.
I’ve always thought Alan Rickman would be a great Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Yum.
Good call on Richman

Im thinking Olivia Wilde as Mara Jade. Think of somebody else. She's a worse socialist than Janeane Garofalo and a lousy actress to boot.
She single handedly ruined "House".

Hope they don’t animate the entire thing, beyond the special effects of course.

It'll never happen. My expectations for any Star Wars film has never been high. It is escapist Sci-Fi fare for me.
Hey...I thought Dune was pretty entertaining. Except when it rained at the end. David Lynch was such a moron.
