I have thought for a long time that Halloween was just a slick way of turning children into beggars.

Nothing like sending you kid out, dressed up in a costume to beg for candy, by threatening those who are supposed to be kind by giving them some.

Just like real socialism. Give free food, homes, phones, etc.etc, etc. Then when you tell the lazy bums we are broke, they threaten to take riot.

Threaten to cut taxes or fight against a proposed tax increase and the police and firemen all get together by threatening we will lose our fire or police protection.

We train them up well on how to get what they want for free don’t we?

While “trick or treat” is supposed to only be a formality, some take it further with actual tricks.

You’re right, liberalism, if it ever was anything else before, is now the ultimate trick or treat with emphasis on the TRICK.

To the contrary, I don’t think it is subliminal training.

Children (and their parents excited in the anticipation of their kids fun and cuteness) thinking, planning, wishing and wanting to dress up in the characterization of their idol, looking ‘scary’, or in the case of my grand daughters being the prettiest princess - bunny - or chipmunk they can be. Their reward for this ‘work’ is some candy.

The celebration is RUINED by those leeches that don’t even dress up as anything, hold up a pillow case, and can’t even say the words, or even say thank you in English...

I’ve had it with them. I’ve supported their parents for years - I’ll not continue it with them.
