Google is celebrating what would be the late Bob Ross's 70th birthday, Monday, October 29, with a special doodle!
Bob Ross was so mellow, he could lower the blood pressure of Chris Matthews at a Romney-Ryan victory party. Watching Bob Ross would transport your brainwaves to a peaceful landscape of little trees wherever you want them to be. The Bobness would take you to a place where there are no mistakes, only happy accidents. Bob Ross was so laid back, that when he died, people asked, "How could they tell?"

Now besides being Bob Ross's birthday, October 29 is also my daughter Anna's birthday! She's 17!

I love Bob Ross. He makes painting look so easy. I later learned that it apparently is not the case after signing up for painting class in college.

Yep, I, too, loved Bob’s show. In a half-hour he would come up with a terrific landscape of woods and trees and stream and clouds and sky that was amazing. He did make it look easy.

As Bob might smile and say, “The election of the African communist Ubama was just an unhappy mistake.”

Loved to watch Bob Ross paint happy clouds. Mr. Henrickson, does your wife paint? If so, Im wondering if I took some classes from her or some very nice beautiful lady whose last name was similar to yours.

As an art collector, I am not that big a fan of his. Still, considering his iconic and lasting legacy, the $5K- $10K range of the value of his art is a pretty good bargain.
