To figure out GIMP, you must be one with many layers.

Imagine quantum entanglement across branes in a multi-verse. Stick with 4-D math in each brane (close enough for cooks) and keep the number of layers small until you are more secure in your efforts.

Also, it helps to read the manual. And study some of the more obscure asian religions.

Big trick is when you render a pic, mash the layers flat into a .jpeg and run with it.

Once I have figured out how to apply text to an image, I’ll work on the meshing the layer thingies... heh
