Words escape me. I had to view it twice to make sure I hear it right.
I wasn’t aware of the rampant suicides by our servicepeople. God help us.
Ted Turner has been killing himself for years, with alcohol. I wish he’d hurry it up.
Not surprising—He married Jane Fonda, after all.
His mannerisms/speech make it seem that he has either dementia or the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
Since I am a Catholic, I can't say that Turner should take his own advice personally.

I was once in Manhattan when a limo pulled up next to me and Ted Turner and Jane Fonda got out right in front of me. I immediately saw red, lost my composure and shouted out, “Go to hell, you traitorous c—t!”
Turner immediately confronted me, got in my face and yelled, “That’s how you talk to a lady?,” to which I responded, “What makes you think I wasn’t talking about you?”
A couple of his body guards got between us quickly and they went into the hotel that we were at. I continued to verbally express my discontent with the two of them until the doors closed behind them. When I was done, a fellow veteran walked over to me, introduced himself to me and THANKED me for saying what he wanted to say.
I’m not particluarly proud of my behavior that day, but then again, I’m happy with the memory of it. I hope they both rot in the worst part of Hell when their time comes.

Iirc, the suicide rate among service members approximates the rate among non-military people in the same demographic groups. Young, single men have the highest rate of suicide, period.

I am sure there are people in the world who would extend Turner’s judgement of guilt against the rank and file of the US Military to include Turner himself, just for being an American.
