Dear Supporter,
This Friday, Concerned Veterans for America will launch the "We Can Do Better" ten-day East Coast bus tour (October 19-28) that will travel through campaign 'swing states' prior to Election Day to generate awareness of the mounting challenges facing service members returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and veterans of all generations.
CLICK HERE to learn more about the Tour and RSVP to join us along the way.
The bus tour will allow veterans and voters in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Ohio - and across the nation - to hear directly from leaders in the veterans' community about critical issues like:
* High veterans unemployment, especially younger vets * Persistent military voting problems * Growing Veterans Affairs (VA) claims backlog * Foreign policy: Libya, Afghanistan, etc. * Looming 'national security' cuts, known as 'sequestration' * Implications of $16 trillion national debt
At CVA, we think our veterans deserve better and that we can do better - it is time for results, not rhetoric. We need leadership from our president and Congress, real reform of bloated government institutions, and a responsible fiscal policy that will support the freedom and prosperity our military men and women fight to preserve.
It's put up or shut up time, and CVA is hitting the road to spread the word. We look forward to seeing you along the way.
Sincerely,
Pete Hegseth CEO, Concerned Veterans for America
P.S. For more information on bus tour specifics, please visit our website.
Concerned Veterans for America is a nation-wide, non-profit veterans organization established to advocate for policies that will preserve the freedom, liberty, and prosperity that veterans and their families have so proudly fought and sacrificed to defend. Since April of 2012, over 111,000 Americans have joined CVA on Facebook.
