“Hugh Jackman is Australian. Dont think he can vote here. :)”
I think he was referring to Hugh Gyllenhall, Jake’s grandfather.

“His name sounds very Welsh.”
Gyllenhall is Swedish. Jake is Jewish through his mother.

The celebrity worship in this country is ridiculous. If you are dumb enough to let celebrities help make up your mind, you deserve every bit of the big government we've been getting for the past few decades. True, but every election cycle we need to win the votes of stupid voters. It's better to do that by getting flashy spokespeople than by saying we support stupid liberal policies which sound good to stupid people.

Stupid and uninformed voters are a big part of the reason why the the GOP establishment moderates are able to foist RINO candidates off on us and why the last couple of Republican Presidents have been big government nanny-staters.
You don't get a New England liberal who believes in false prophets and who inspired Obamacare as the GOP candidate unless you fool a lot of stupid people.

History hath shewn that a vote for Perot was a vote for Clinton.

" The celebs have given their permission to dump Obozo!!" Well, when Obozo keeps keeps flapping his lips about "taxing the rich", especially those making over a million or so per year, and the celebs are for the most part rich, then I can see why the "celebs" are starting to turn on Obama.

I don’t think it is a big risk now. After that 1st debate Obama was no longer politically correct.
