Boy oh boy, I’m SO happy that the officer wasn’t injured. I mean, if he had been injured, it might have restricted his donut intake in the coming week!
And heaven knows, we can’t have that.

Wouldn't do that to a person, right? Why do it to a dog? The moment of danger (if there ever was one) was past, yes?
Anytime a cop shoots a dog there should be the same type investigation as if a person was shot. What’s bothersome is so many witnesses contradict the cops.
I went on a trip a few weeks back and took both of my Llhasas. One weighs 18 pounds and the other is 12 pounds. The little one will bark if anyone gets near the car. I was paranoid I was going to get stopped by some redneck trigger happy cop.
As a new dog owner this is my biggest fear. If my dog somehow managed to hurt someone I’d be the first to take care of the situation.
However, if my dog is playing with my kids and some cop comes out of no where and shoots it, then, as it’s doing what we are told to do by the cops and escape the attacker and the cop gives chase to shoot it again..
well...
I can’t say what would happen next.
Plus, my dog is a Basset. My son can almost walk faster than the dog can run. If he growls at you, walk away at a fast pace. Don’t worry, he won’t catch up.
A 1 year old Lab is pretty much still a puppy and unlikely to be a threat to a child or anyone else.
A Lab “lunged” at a child? Probably trying to lick him to death ....
WTF is up with the cops these days? I am so sick of “cops shooting dogs” stories I could just scream. I’m really glad we only have cats. (I know, I know, they’re probably next! Those darned attack cats. Cops just can’t be too careful.)
What the hell are these Piece POSs doing?
Ping for later
