Sarah Palin looks noticeably thinner & different in LA: is it just a weird outfit?

These are some new photos of former governor Sarah Palin and her daughter Willow in Studio City, California on Sunday. I looked through the photos yesterday, but I couldn’t work up the courage to really write anything about them. My first reaction was actually “Did Sarah Palin get a really bad makeover?” Despite my disagreements with her politics (and I’m studiously attempting to only discuss the superficial here, so play along), I consider Palin an attractive woman, but whatever is going on in these photos is not good. Those highlights look awful. Her clothes look… cheap. And dear God, she’s lost a lot of weight, right? She always had a nice figure. Maybe it’s just the combination of slim-cut jeans and those horrible wedges? She just seems drastically slimmer in these photos, thinner than I’ve ever seen her. What’s going on with her?

The woman is an avid runner and that alone tends to keep the Body Mass Index quite low. After five kids most women would tend to become candidates for the Walmart People Lycra Spandex fifteen pounds in a ten pound bag photo collection. But those who don't, and work to stay fit, do get thinner. I've seen it with Mrs. Katana. She's proud and I am not complaining.

PS: Sarah is still stunningly gorgeous.

I don't know if she looks thinner. I always thought Sarah Palin...like Ann Coulter...would improve an observers life if she were to go ahead, and, accept a sandwich.

Willow is in cosmetology school so she is
using Bristol and Sarah for practice. Un-
fortunately, Willow doesn’t have good taste
like her Mother and/or does not realize some

During the 2008 campaign she was months away from giving birth. There being no intervening pregnancies, naturally four years later she would be noticeably thinner.

The other observations, IMO, are true: the highlights and newhairdo are not flattering and the clothes look cheap. But still, who approaching 50 wouldn’t want to look like that?
