The Huffington Post, ever eager to curry favor with anti-American pundits and racists posing as free-thinkers, has published a screed by Marc Lamont Hill, who is a black professor at Georgetown University, titled “The 15 Most Overrated White People.” Keep in mind that this is a man who not only praised convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal, but published Jamal’s writings, and also was accused of supporting Fidel Castro and Khalid Muhammed.
So who are some of the people on Hill’s list?
Christopher Columbus, described as “an immoral treasure hunter” and a “vicious conquistador.”
Elvis Presley: a “cheap facsimile of Little Richard.” Spoken like a true racist.
Ronald Reagan: “largely responsible for shutting down mental hospitals, bloating the military, shrinking benefits for the needy, sparking mass incarceration, and declaring ketchup a vegetable for our children's school lunches.” Also closing down the Soviet Union and rescuing the American economy, you moron.
There are others on the list who deserve it (Bill Clinton and Justin Bieber come to mind), but this column is just one more instance of a black racist venting his fury on the people who have largely civilized the modern world. Are there whites who are overrated? Sure. But if Hill really wanted to be truthful, he could have added one to the list: Barack Obama’s mother.

Hill leverages his racism for money with Bill O'Reilly who I'm sure keeps him around as a source of controversy and thus revenue. He couches his core racism under a veneer of academia and a slimy personality, but this article shows just how hateful and clueless he really is.
But I guess this means it's OK to put out a list of "The Most Over-Rated Black People", and I know exactly who would be at the top of that list. And he'd have lots of company.
Anyone else notice that the subtle dehumanization of whites in this society is becoming a little less subtle each year?
I actually agree with this one, but not for the reasons given. It is more that he was a petty tyrant when given a chance to govern his own Carribean nation, and had to be removed by his peers. Basically, dude sucked.
I don't know about Little Richard, but there is no question Elvis ripped off black artists but passed himself off as an original.

And Led Zeppelin ripped off blues artists...but who is remembered more? Howling Wolf, Willie Dixon or the mighty Zep? Yeah, Page, Plant and crew, because they took elements of blues songs and made it something unique and reinvented. Which is exactly what Elvis did...he interpreted the material and made it better than the original.
William Shakespeare is overrated but rappers are even rated? Rappers are the worst disembowlers of the English language ever.
Hill passes off Kyd, Middleton and Webster as superior to Shakespeare. LOL There’s not a single example cited from these shock-meisters that would justify such an assertion. Also who was writing better female roles than Shakespeare before the Restoration?

He was combining the R&B of the time with Country and Western influences in a way that others were not doing.

We all know there are bad white people as well as bad people of all shapes, sizes, and colors. The point of this article is how “Doctor Hill” who purports to be above this sort of thing as a big academic thought leader, blah blah, is just another angry black racist.
