I'm a semi-birther myself in that I think he was a foreign student of some kind, but if I were Ryan I'd send these politically-naive agitators who are bugging him a manual on how to win elections in modern-day America.

i am a “birther”. i do not believe that he should have been president because his father was not a natural citizen. that made it for me, along with the fact that he had a book out that declared that he was a “kenyon”.

I think that the Birther issue is a distraction, and should NOT be a topic of the election campaign.
That being said, I think Obama’s paper trail (tax returns, college transcripts, AND birth certificate (unofficial)) did NOT receive the scrutiny they should have, and as result we got screwed. (pardon my french)
I’m sure a lot of information will come out later. The goal right now is to win the election.

Ryan announces that while he’s not a Birther, they bring up some good points, and the Pubbies lose 5 million votes immediately. Only a fanatic would demand Romney and Ryan say one word about it except to say they believe Obama is a full American citizen. Saying anything else would be suicidal.
If/when asked, I would think that the best answer for Ryan and Romney would be “Isn’t that YOUR job as the media to find out? Right now we’re a little busy with an election to prepare for.”
I am not a 100% Ryan or any other politician’s water boy as to what is fact and/or truth. I have lived in the USA through the great depression and WWII and have my own opinion as to how the world spins. My current spinning for Romney and Ryan could come to a stop if I gather they can not accept the logic/reasoning of sincere people as to blowholes in Obama’s history.

A summary of the article below (which I absolutely agree with): The Liberal TPM Media folks know that most Tea Party and conservatives are birthers... so they sifted through a ton of old articles to find a Ryan quote that will make conservatives angry with Ryan.
I’m sure Libs are nervous about the pending debate results between Ryan and Biden (the intellect of the Democratic party) after Romney exposed the empty chair that Obama is at the last debate. So TPM found this standard memo letter on the birther topic to a constituent.
And combined with the fact that a recent poll revealed 73% of Republicans and 40 % of ALL Americans doubt Obama’s birhtplace, TPM has decided to marginalize the vote away from Ryan/Romney using the birther issue as a wedge.
As much as I would love every Representative to take on the eligibility issue instead of fearing it... the MOST IMPORTANT GOAL is to get Obama out of Office... and Ryan is CLEARLY INFINITELY more conservative and a far more awesome alternative than any Liberal candidate.
