The first post served as a very general introduction to the subject of cannibalism in archaeology, and can be found here.
The second was a more in depth look at this subject including a few case studies, and is over here.
Hopefully, work allowing, I will be able to post some original content up here very soon, but for now hopefully this will suffice.
Till next time

Ancestral Dining Ping.
I’d rather see something about contemporary cannibalism, as found in some liberal circles and some muslim circles.
We know it exists, we know cases, but no study has been made.
I simply have no interest in going offsite to read an article that could easily be posted here.
Sounds good.
When I happen to compose a full-length article or column, I post it right here at Free Republic. Who needs a stinking blog? The number of "views" and replies you get here at FR blows away what any blog would get.

If in the future you’d like to do that with minimum hassle, it’s really quite easy.
Just hover over the article and right click.
Select “View Source’ and copy the code from the end of the piece back to the beginning. You’ll automatically pick up all the necessary code.
Stop copying at the first paragraph break at the top It’l look something like this: < div > < p> (without the spaces)
Paste it to your post and it’s done. No excerpt, all graphics will transfer without having to source each one.
The thing, though, is that cannibalism - even existing today - has little to do with food. More with subhuman ideas of spirituality.
In Hexrheim they estimate that a 1000 people were et, in 50 years, and again in Mexico Human flesh was a part of the daily diet, see Prescott.
I will ask my step brother why Italians have bigger bums, I don't have any Germans in the Family but we do have a number of Poles and the women have nice bums, real nice. Nice prefrontal Protuberances also.
“And for dessert, lady fingers.”
If you look through the site there is some interesting stuff about Neolithic times. As you may have guessed over the years that I am not a believer in some primeval utopia where everyone got along and didn't beat their wives or husbands, as the case may be, though in the latter case I think that the payback may have been fatal.
Sorry I didn’t visit the underlying link earlier, it’s interesting.
