You KNEW that no matter what numbers they had to come up with by Nov 2012, they would put them up there.
The "Promise" that spending the Stimulus Funds (bailout of Unions and Banker friends, and handouts to "Green Energy" cronies) had to be shown to be true, and to be able to say at the next Debates "Un-employment is dropping, and we need more time to finish the job...."

The important number that we need to keep in the forefront is how many people were working on Jan 19, 2008, and how many are on payrolls today.
(The more telling number is the difference between November 2005 and today, because this really is the Pelosi-Ried economy, but we Americans are too stupid to think that way.)
