The moderator didn't think you guys were intellectually savy enough to see through the title of the post despite the body of the thread shining light on it. Personally, I think you guys are smarter than that, but obviously, he doesn't think so. So I'm done at FR. See you guys on the other side! Keep up the fight for the America we have know and love!
Arcy out.
Just to be factually correct, aren’t there 1 and a half white guys in the debate? ;) It really is racist to leave that poor half white guy out all the time!
Whoa there, txrangerette, jes’ put them purdy little pink handled pistols back in them thar holsters, wudja?
I wasn’t writing about the headline itself. Calm down.
Rewrite the damned headline. Sometimes it appears that the moderators have a hair trigger. You post an article and zap! it’s gone before anyone gets to read it. Stay with us Arcy and fight the fight we all know is good!
While you’re sulking and while you moderators are looking to score another victory in the name of political correctness, just consider the following:
Where are Jim, Tim, and Franklin now?
Just in case you might have wondered how their ineptitude affected their
lives after they ruined so many dreams and lives.
Where are Jim, Tim and Franklin now?
Here’s a quick look into the three former Fannie Mae executives who
brought down Wall Street.
Franklin Raines - was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie
Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when
auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae’s accounting
activities. Raines left with a “golden parachute valued at $240 Million
in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth
of the
accounting scandal became clear.
Tim Howard - was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard “was
a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would
ensure a “stable pattern of earnings” at Fannie. Investigations by federal
regulators and the company’s board of directors since concluded that
management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and
Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard’s Golden Parachute
was estimated at $20 Million!
Jim Johnson - A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later
forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. Investigators found that
Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson’s 1998
compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million
and $7 million when it fact it was $21 million.” Johnson is currently under
investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as
CEO of Fannie Mae. Johnson’s Golden Parachute was estimated at
$28 Million.

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
FRANKLIN RAINES?
Raines works for the Obama Campaign as his Chief Economic Advisor.
TIM HOWARD?
Howard is a Chief Economic Advisor to Obama under Franklin Raines.
JIM JOHNSON?
Johnson was hired as a Senior
Obama Finance Advisor and was selected to
run Obama’s Vice Presidential Search Committee.
Kinda makes you sick to your stomach.
Our government is rotten to the core !
Are we stupid or what? Vote in 2012..it is the most important electionof our lives...
Doesn’t it just warm your little pea-pickin’ heart to know that they are NOT among the unemployed......
Is that why they changed his title to Blog Pimp Moderator?
Still whining that you posted something from the WSJ that goet excerpted? Good grief. I saw that thread.
What? You can’t come into someone elses house and say what you want? What is the world coming to?
Thx, well said.
heh!
I understand your intent, but we don’t need to give the left any ammunition! The mods are simply trying to prevent statements like that being displayed on DU, HuffPo, or DailyKos by real racists. Take a deep breath and come on back. We need all hands on deck to ward off the disaster that would be an Obama second term.
Missed your post originally. Have never moderated, but if ever had, would have agreed the headline was out of line with Free Republic. For what it is worth, I was a Mr. Cain supporter. I have to support the Mods simply because the Mods have to not be particularly politically correct, instead the Mods have to protect everyone and this site. The Mods have a tough job. The Mods do excellent work. I am certain you agree their job is tough. I am also certain you agree they do an excellent job. Buck up FRiend. Though may have seen you, along and on the board, I do not know you. You do not know me either. Both of us not knowing each other is both of our loses. Prayers to see you around FRiend, if not, may you enjoy your life.
Perfectly stated Karl.
ditto!
Thank you, Moderator. And thank you for posting the entire thing. Well done.
Honestly, the whining humans!
ARcy you are wrong. I think the moderator was correct in pulling that heading. If you can't see that, good riddance.
Nicely played, LMAO!
Which post, pray tell, was that Rudeness?
Refresh out memories.
Since I was never calmed up, I don’t need to calm down.
I often write for those who aren’t “in” on everything up to that point.
Your name had to be posted in my comment, but it wasn’t personal.
I don’t get the demeaning imagery you used to describe me, what that’s about.
I do reject it though.
Well since you didn’t get banned now you can post some other dumbazz thing.
Bye bye, if you must go.
I understand this decision, BUT
I was savagely attacked for posting an Akin article and saying that what Akin said would be seized by the media to as evidence conservatives are sexists (which by the way happened). The dominant response was we should say what we want and the liberal media be damned.
How is this decision different?
One minute we care what the liberal media might make of statements and the next minute we don’t.
Basically there is just so much hypocrisy at FR.
I don’t blame Arcy for being fed up with it.
