Ok it all started when I harmlessly pointed out that Obama was up by two points in Rasmussen and five points in the Fox News poll. Then I get this twitter reply:

Now that events have proven your bedwetting hysteria to be silly nonsense, I suppose you will be issuing a retraction, right?

Obama proved vividly once again he is total empty suit. I understand all the euphoria about the debate, but the problem with leg tingles is they don’t last. After last night’s debate, where Obama proved to be more of a poser than ever, if he still wins do you think the gnashing of teeth on the right will be stronger or weaker?
So that’s a no.
“So thats a no.”
Definite no.
1. Debates almost always play little role in the outcome of the election.
2. Obama campaign played prevent defense because they believed if Romney didn’t have a big win the election would have been over, so they played it safe.
3. Romney is a very target rich environment. You can rest assured that in round 2 Obama will be swinging with 47%, Romneycare, Mitt’s flip flops. I can write the media’s talking points right now: “Wow Obama was a totally different person tonight, he came out swinging and had Romney on his heels. This was the Obama we know”.
Last night was the equivalent of going up to the line of scrimmage on fourth down trying to pull the defense off sides. If they jump the game is over, if not you call timeout and punt.
Why don’t you just admit you want Romney to lose so you can say “See I told you so”.

Because I’m not five yrs old, like many on here seem to be.

As of 3:20 pm eastern time Romney is down, -2.2 on Intrade. WHAT! impossible, Romney dominated. My guess is traders realize Obama survived 1st debate without any mortal wounds and there are only left

Just to be clear, Romney is down an additional 2.2 today on Intrade. Obama 68.9 Romney 31
