How many Sunday shows did he do? How many interviews beside Fox News did he do? How many Fox News interviews did he even do. Today he said he stands by his decision to not back Akin. Can you enlighten me on how that makes any sense whatsoever?

1st. You really are not particularly brigh. In fact, you might be intellectually shallower than a dry river bed but, I didn’t read you blog.

2nd. This community pays for this site. It isn’t ad supported and we don’t take kindly to smart alec’s who prove with their response they aren’t interested so much in discourse as they are about promoting themselves.

3rd. We got no beef with bloggers but again, we pay for this site and don’t believe it should be used as a part of anyone’s business plan.

We invite your blog and ask that it posted in full. Trust me, if it’s good enough we’ll be rushing to your site.

There are other bloggers here and they receive plenty of hits but understand the community rules to post in full, their really terrific thoughts.

4th. You may very well have something important to say but zipping through your responses it seems more delusory and divisive or well, down right argumentative.

You can’t even make your case without resorting to shallow and deeply idiotic put downs. Really not becoming of FR but, we let nOObs slide because we realize they don’t yet have very thick skin.

5th and finally, all nOOb’s will get the FNG treatment. It’s part welcoming to the community and part weeding undesirables.

You need to pick a side if you wish to stay:

A. You are part of the community.

B. You don’t really care about the community but, it’s more about you and your business.

Just feel free to pick which one you want to be and we’ll be okay with your choice.

Just a little tip, when trying to point out to your friends that someone is not ‘particularly bright’ it would help if you spell ‘bright’ correctly. Also it’s ‘your blog’ not’you blog.’ Normally it would be no big deal but when you’re calling someone stupid it helps not to act stupid.

So let me get this straight, if someone posts something you disagree with then they are promoting themselves, but if they post something you agree with, then it’s a free flow of ideas. Do I have that about right?

First of all I don’t know what you are so upset about? What that I put a link to my stupid Google Blogger site? That was the mortal sin I committed?

I could care less if anyone visits my stupid Google Blogger site or not. I first started posting on a Tea Party site but they kept screwing up my password so then I started posting on Tea Party Nation. I still post on Tea Party Nation but it’s a hassle because they have to approve every little thing including changes. So I opened a Google Blogger site. The software is very user friendly, far superior to any Tea Party site or Free Republic. The article I posted today has 5 or 6 links on it, so it’s much easier to just link to my Google Blogger site than redo all the links on Free Republic.

The fact that so many of you get so worked up about whether I post it in full on Free Republic or link to it on Google is amazing.

Actually I don’t need to pick a side. I’ll post things on Free Republic when I feel I have something worthwhile to say. If that causes some of you to blow a casket then send little notes to each other about how much you hate that ‘notromney’ guy and then go tell on me and get me kicked off. Otherwise get a hobby.

You belong in the bloggers section of FR and you may end up there. I suspect lightning in your short life here so I will be the 1st to call IBTZ. I didn't disagree with what you posted or the content. I disagree with using FR as a foundation to your burgeoning career as an opionist(not a word, I know) without posting the full content of your musings. We have no problemo with your blog what so ever. We don't want to be a part of your business plan and ask you post the full article, along with a link to your blog. As to font, you use what you think is best for your audience. Personally, I prefer arial, mostly because it sounds Disney. You do care if someone visits your blog site otherwise you are having an argument with yourself. Not a good sign. You can't write HTML? Is that the problem as to why it's too much to post the full article? No problemo. If you have the old "Windoze Outlook" you can write the entire article in it and pull the "source code" from it to post at FR. Or..If you have Windoze Word you can write the article as a Web Page. All you do is use the Web Page Template and again you can just pull the code directly from there. Copy/paste in the little "Your Reply" box, like you did before and it will recognize anything written in html. Kind of like when we post pictures we type

Ok it all started when I harmlessly pointed out that Obama was up by two points in Rasmussen and five points in the Fox News poll. Then I get this twitter reply:

Wow. Let's just skip the election! You probably watch MSNBC too, right? #pollworship

Now was it really necessary to be snippy right off the bat? I mean what ever happened to small talk? "You look like you have a nice follow through" or "I like your shoes" ya know, a few pleasantries. The MSNBC quip was a bit harsh but then to follow it up with the #pollworship dig was way over the top. Am I right? Do I look like a pollworshipper? C'mon. That was followed by:

"Polls are easily manipulated. Many polls in 1980 showed Carter ahead. They are meant to moralize opposition"

I think he meant 'demoralize' but I let it go because I knew what he meant and I didn't want to come across as snippy. However I still had to point out the myth of the Reagan comeback, because it was just that, a myth. So I posted this article, "click here"

I don't think John cared much for the article because of this:

Ok I admit that might have come across as a bit snippy, but even someone as mild mannered as myself can only refrain from being snippy for so long.

The heat was turned up when he said something about feeling bad for my defeatist mentality and that the pollsters had me right where they wanted me. So now you're probably thinking I lashed out with another snippy comment, but you're wrong. I calmly said: we have a problem, ignoring it solves nothing. What's sad is so many on my side act like dems. "Well my intentions were good, I tried"

The larger point I was trying to make is we have to defeat Obama. Our problem is Romney simply doesn't have the skill set or the temperament to win. Simply crossing our fingers and closing our eyes is going to give us the same result as four years ago.

John told me to do something other than just complain. So then I got super snippy and said: "John, no offense but I'm going to put u in the click your heels twice, fairy dust, unicorn column, but again no offense." Ok perhaps I'm not always so mild mannered. Especially seeing as how I followed up with: "so your plan is to ignore the polls, chant U-S-A, U-S-A, have i got that about right?

Now I have to admit John did respond with a good question. "Replace Romney with whom, the ghost of Reagan?" Granted I could have done without the 'ghost of Reagan' snark, but still a valid question. I said: "Romney should leave the campaign trail and turn it over to Ryan. After the election Romney steps down and Ryan picks a new VP."

I'm serious. Four years ago we knew weeks before election day, it was over. We still have a month before judgement day. Are we really just going to sit quietly with our arms folded while we once again head over the cliff? We've been told for the last year and a half if Obama wins reelection we won't survive. Was that just hyperbole or did you really mean it? Because if you really meant it, we do what ever it takes.

Things turned sour again when he went off on another 'manipulation of polls' rant and something about the evils of excess salt in our diet. I may have called him a half baked wackadoodle, I really don't remember. But I do remember comparing him to an emotional former girlfriend, during that time of the month.

I also told him earlier in the day Rush Limbaugh was talking about republican enthusiasm being 16 points higher than that of the democrats. Listen to this Steve Deace interview of republican pollster Rick Shaftan. Rick says the exact opposite. "click here for audio"

The reply:

This is probably where we reached the point of no return. I said: "I don't know why in the era of Google you think you can make shit up and get away with it." PPP is a dem pollster, "click here"

Yup, a bridge too far. Perhaps I should have said 'crap' instead of 'shit'. These were the last words I ever heard from John: "Go watch a skin vid, sir. I'm finished with you. Adios"

So what can we learn from this tragedy? First, relationships are hard. Second, if you're headed over the same cliff two presidential elections in a row maybe it's time to say: "AW HELL NO!!"

Yes, actually it’s better than I can do. I received divine inspiration on this one but I don’t expect that to ever happen again.

Shouldn’t you say something about my third rate blog, the fact that I excerpted it? All the others are very concerned, why aren’t you? Are you just going to turn a blind eye to all the criminal excerpting running rampant on FR?

Apparently tracking down criminal excerpting here on FR is the news cause celeb. I want to congratulate you three in particular for making sure this criminal activity is put to a stop.

I’ve posted probably 5 articles over the last six months on FR and excerpted every one. No one ever said a peep and frankly I never even considered it to be an issue.

If FR wants me to post articles in full that’s fine. The first I was made aware this was even an issue was from snarky remarks from you three accusing me of trying to steal from FR. Wouldn’t a more mature way of letting me know that FR wants articles to be posted in full, have been to just tell me, instead of accusing me, with a bunch of snarky posts, of stealing away FR viewers in order to carry out my nefarious business plan?

My biggest problem with you is that you're here, on a conservative forum, arguing that the Marxist Kenyan in the White House would be better for us over the next four years than the pro-capitalism guy. That's a pretty big problem. You've dug yourself into a hole on this thread while ignoring everything Carnegie taught us about winning friends and influencing people. Perhaps you should stop digging your hole and find another place - that likes Obama as much as you do - to call home.

Rasmussen uses a sample weighted to the Ds by 3 as do the other pollsters. Yet, his own polls show a 4-5 pt advantage in R registration. Why does he do this?

And ALL pollsters are facing the 91% refusal rate. So ALL their samples are taken from the 9% willing to talk. This 9% seems clearly to be more lib than conservative by nature.

Well, like I said it’s a community and we jump on these pretty quick but “Snarkiness and Sarcasm are just a few of the free we provide”.

The bloggers section really isn’t read by many people here on FR. There are those who love to read bloggers but, I think you want to the largest audience here to read your musings. So post it in full and make a name for yourself or go live on Blog Island.
