Oh, I’m sure there would be armed resistance, but I’m also sure Obama and his handlers will try. Under this administration, the Constitution has become worthless. He has violated the Constitution numerous times, and neither Congress nor the Supremes have had any inclination to stop him.

And we have gone soft. Our military won’t offer resistance now that it is infested with gays and the implementation of political correctness and what not. Civilians are being lulled with government programs (eg, free cell phones), together with an education system that indoctrinates the very young to think that Obama is a hero and that government owes them everything. I just don’t know how many people are willing or able to defend this once great nation from tyranny.

There are an estimated 90 million gun owners in the United States. If the unthinkable happened, it's a certainty that at minimum, 3% of them would not hesitate to exercise their 2nd Amendment right as a last resort against a tyranny which seeks to overtly enslave them.

That's nearly 3 million armed and highly determined citizens who would fight to the death to secure their liberty. It's also the largest armed force on the planet, and easily dwarfs the combined forces of the US military.

Why 3%? That's the estimated percentage of American colonists who actually stood and fired at the British in the American Revolution (although a full third supported the revolution). Given the times we live in today, that percentage might be even higher.
