Compare the candidates: Obama, Romney, Goode (Vanity)

Folks, Obama and Romney are eating off the same menu (although Romney changes his diet from election to election).

Virgil Goode is the only acceptable candidate running, IMHO.

I think Jim Robinson had it right in calling Romney a "liberal progressive abortion/homosexual pushing Republican."

OK so in one corner we have a “man” who voted three times to prevent any care of babies born alive after abortions because it would inconvenience the mother and require a pediatrician to be called. A man who doesn’t want his daughters punished with a baby.
In the other hand we have a man who has been consistent in his position on abortion since 1994.

In other words, since the last time pro-abortion looked like a winning political strategy to him. I still think Jim had it right.

If you expect there to be elections after this one

Yeah, well let's get back to this upcoming election we were talking about.

You expect to defeat Obama by NOT voting for Romney. Let's look at that for a moment.

Romney is opposing Obama. You may more closely align yourself
with Willy the Pool Guy.. because he talks a good game..

But Willy will not be winning any elections.

Willy, although you may like him and feed him and rub his feet
will not be taking Obama out of office. But Romney might.

So how about joining the rest of us in Reality-Town?

Willy won't win.

If you expect there to be elections after this one [TEXT OMITTED BY HG: it might be nice to have viable conservative candidates in them.

Do you agree?]

Yeah, well let's get back to this upcoming election we were talking about.

Your reluctance to answer my simple question is noted.

You expect to defeat Obama by NOT voting for Romney.

Where did I say that?

Willy won't win.

I know.

Ping Jim all you like, in your pathetic attempt to deny reality.

Fags deny reality, and global warmists and vegans and cross-dressers.

Deny that reality, do!

http://aboutmittromney.com/abortion.htm
““As for the claim that “Romney signed government mandated health care with taxpayer-funded abortions,” that, too, is overblown. The state health care law didn’t say anything about abortion. Instead, the state exchange later decided that subsidized insurance plans would include coverage for abortion. And the exchange may have had little choice but to do so. In 1981, the Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled that women eligible for Medicaid had a state constitutional right to payments for medically necessary abortions. In 1997, the state high court again ruled that Massachusetts must cover medically necessary abortions if it covers other medically necessary care, such as childbirth...

“But it’s not true that he signed a law that included “taxpayer-funded abortions.”

“The Gingrich Web video says that Romney “used taxpayers funds to pay for abortions.” Again, the law didn’t say anything about abortion. Were taxpayer funds ever actually used to cover abortions for those who gained subsidized coverage under the law? We asked the Gingrich campaign if it had any proof for that claim. So far, we have not received a response. But overall, the law didn’t lead to any increase in abortions in the state. In fact, both the number and rate of abortions have declined since the legislation was passed.

“The Guttmacher Institute, whose research on abortion has been cited by both political parties, has compiled statistics that show the number of abortions in the state went from 27,270 in 2005, the year before the law was passed, to 24,900 in 2008, the most recent statistic available. And the rate of abortions per 1,000 women of reproductive age fell from 19.9 in 2005 to 18.3 in 2008. That’s an 8 percent drop, compared with a small rise of 1 percent nationally.”

If you have read the 100 plus comments, you should know what the right thing to do is.

Hi. I'm not going to base my vote on "comments" nor on some unwritten law (unconstitutional) that I have vote either for Obama or Romney. If there is a good candidate on the ballot, I'll vote for him; if there is not, then I simply won't vote.

At any rate, as libdestroyer so succinctly put it in post 74: This country isn’t declining because of Obama. This country is declining because we left GOD behind. Destruction of the United States will come at the hand of God, not Barack Obama and you know what... we will deserve it.

Good site! "he [Romney] would honor the will of the voters to keep it [abortion] legal, in his 1994 and 2002 campaigns."

Looks like Jim had it right.

God bless you too.

>>> “I maintain that my vote is ....”

I think you’re being a bit hypocritical on this forum. You’re going beyond voting and actively campaigning for other’s votes, criticizing those who don’t vote as you think they should.

I think that’s the same thing you’re objecting to in others.

Your actions in advocating other’s votes is the topic of my post you replied to. And you didn’t address those actions.

We have two choices.

One will put Obama out of office.

Which do you choose?

You can smile as they lead you out for execution, knowing that you “voted your principles”.

Obviously the other option would be to vote against my principles and live. So my choice, if I understand you correctly, is to die for my principles or to live going against them? Please God, may I die voting and living according to His principles!

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke)

I maintain that not casting a vote to defeat Obama is doing nothing.
If there is any face on the Godlessness of this Nation it is Obama. Not taking action to remove him is “doing nothing.”
Do not allow evil to triumph. Do not sit by and do nothing secure in the knowledge that America is evil and God will destroy us.
Stand up and be counted, speak up against evil and speak out against evil men and their sinful deeds.

Voting for V.Goode is doing nothing.
Voting for Romney is taking a stand against the evil totalitarianism that Obama is preaching. One man is not perfect, none of us are. The other man is against God at least the Judea-Christian kind. Not to mention his other fatal flaws.
