That's what the experts do when they put up for sale signs - but not these do-it-yourself realtors. Instead, they've taken a more unconventional approach and included extra bits of information... like the neighbor is an...
However, this New Jersey homeowner is not the first to try radical tactics in the hopes of garnering attention for a property. Another one revealed: 'Husband left us for a 22-year-old. House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner.'
It was put up by Ellie Zober, an Oregon woman who found out her husband was cheating on her.

Of course, they could both be a-holes and the rest of the neighborhood would prefer they both just go away.

This refreshingly honest placard appeared in New Jersey and is one of a collection of ill-advised for sale sign attempts by people trying to market their homes. It proclaimed: 'House For Sale By Owner Because My Neighbor's An Asshole.'
Location, Location, Location.

I once had a friend who lived in a cul-de-sac of 6 homes. All of the families got along great and their kids 'owned' the street with bikes, skates and a hockey goal. They even had an unwritten rule that whenever anyone BBQ'd they would do it in the driveway and all the neighbors would often join in.
One of the residents was transferred and the family that moved in was not at all compatible with the others. They were of latino heritage with an unemployed older son and two unmarried daughters living at home with children of their own. They had boy friends who were there a lot and the street was cluttered all the time with lots of visitor cars in addition to the five or more the family owned. The visitors were hostile and aggressive gangsta types who intimidated the neighbors.
It didn't take long for everyone to start selling and moving at reduced prices. The once wonderful enclave was gone forever because of one jerk neighbor.

Won’t help him sell the house but maybe that’s not the intent. The neighbor just might curtail hi s a-hole ways after seeing this.
