Manziel is going to be a good one. He’s been pretty impressive for a freshman. A&M is going to be a force in the SEC fairly quickly, they’re recruiting has definitely benefited from being in the SEC.
Yes, I like Manziel. Very impressive kid. Very cool under pressure and a good eye for reading defenses. Could be the best A&M has had in a while.
This year’s Oklahoma team is the worst since the John Blake era. They shouldn’t be ranked.
I hate to say it, but FSU’s path now is pretty clear to playing Bama for the National Championship. The rest of the ACC is a joke. Oregon/USC/Stanford will beat each other up most likely, leaving a Pac 12 team out. The Big 12 is pretty weak, the Big Ten, forget it. Maybe Notre Dame if they run the table could get in, but I don’t see that happening.
I think with West Virgina and TCU, the Big XII is much stronger than the ACC. If Geno Smith and WV can run the gauntlet in the Big XII, they deserve a spot in the title game.
Between West Virginia, Texas and Kansas State. I think it’s another Pac 12 situation where they beat each other up.
Okay, feel offended if you want but when you just write USC people around the country get confused. I write USCw when referring to the other school.
Love Spurrier and he has built USC (happy?) into a consistent contender in the East. Objectively though you have a long way to go to compete against Alabama and LSU. The game against UGA on 10/6 is HUGE and will likely decide the East.
Every team has its ups and downs.
If we finish with a 2 or 3 loss season, I’d say it was very successful.
More important is the development of Driskel, he’s made great strides, now comes his big test against LSU.
True. Hopefully he does a good job. I think it would be a huge confidence builder.
Gainesville is going to be crazy that weekend.
Alabama a true powerhouse? I really think there are some teams out there that could destroy them: The Ravens, The Packers...
