A half of the Top Ten is SEC.
Imagine that, the Gators are in the Top Ten but only the fifth best team in the SEC, think about that.
You guys have looked good so far this year. We almost pulled it off against LSU which tells everyone just how tough it is to win in the SEC especially on the road at night. Some huge games looming amongst these 5 SEC teams:
UGA @ USCe 10/6
LSU @ UF 10/6
USCe @ LSU 10/13
USCe @ UF 10/20
UGA v UF 10/27
Alabama @ LSU 11/3
Auburn played with a lot of heart Saturday night. Hopefully our coaches are analyzing the game to see what Auburn did.
SEC ... feh. A&M dang near put it to Florida IN FLORIDA! Bama and LSU may be powerhouses, but Florida will fall.
The UF- TAMU game was in College Station not in Gainesville. I should know as I watched it on tv.
And your team is...
ND moved way up, based upon wins over Michigan and MSU..problem is, both those teams were way overrated..the Big 10 is really, really weak this season..ND will implode
Florida will not get past Florida State.
Take it to the bank.
The Gator/Semiole season finale could have really big implications.....
It could. Even if we have multiple losses, I’d love to play the spoiler.
K-stater here - it wasn’t pretty, but they were very opportunistic and came back strong after a questionable call let OU take the lead in the second half. Strong road win. WV in 3 weeks.
Correct you are! My mistake. I do remember now that it was in College Station. Dang tough place to play.
But Florida will still fall ... mark my words.
... struggling for the past few years. ;-)
Now for the Gators....it could be a special season..Gators have an off week..good for us..get ready for LSU. LSU didn't look very good this week..maybe they're not a good as they think..and it's a home game for us.
So say we beat LSU..and it'll be interesting to see what the point spread is...then the two big games left are Georgia and SC. Spurrier is first and we're at home, and we'll get the Gamecocks after they've played Georgia and LSU....lots of interesting scenarios there..but anytime Steve comes back to the Swamp..well..
After SC is Georgia. Anytime Gators/Dawgs play..well..you can ususally toss out the conventional wisdom. Stuff always happens, and I've never been a big Mark Richt fan..give him a chance, and he'll usually find a way to mess it up..
So, You could see a #3 FSU playing a #4or5 ranked Gators last game...and then the Gators get Bama in the SEC championship..
Uhhh, the game was in College Station. And A&M is a lot better than people think.
We’re headed in the right direction, but realistically a year or two away from challenging for SEC Supremacy again.
We played pretty sloppy against UK, although we won 38-0, play like that against LSU and we’ll get hammered. But then LSU didn’t look all that great against Auburn.
I think we could maybe win 2 of 3 against LSU/USC/UGA, but I don’t see us beating fsu this year. So a 10-2 record and a possible SEC East title (and subsequent hammering by Bama), but I’ll take that gladly.
EMAW
Yes ... another FReeper pointed that out. My mistake.
A&M is hot/cold. Never know what team will show up to play. If they could get that fixed, they’ll do well in the SEC. But until then, they’re a middle of the road team.
