My rocket stove has one cooking spot. I am trying for one pot meals because of that. Yes, I can make a second stove but with a little planning you can make one work very well and I am going as skimpy on fuel as possible.

One pot meals are good for more than just saving fuel. Faster clean-up, less prep time... All of that.

I don't have to worry about fuel. I know how to render liberals for their fat. ;)

“I am going as skimpy on fuel as possible.”

When I began prepping years ago, I always kept in mind use as little fuel as possible. That guided all my choices for cooking fuel and food ingredients that would cook fast.

Many people don't seem to understand that concept. They will have something large to cook on that requires a lot of fuel to get the job done. I always went with as small as possible and hot as possible using small amounts of fuel.
