Me: Who are you voting for? Jeter: Obama.

Who cares and who really cares? I don’t watch these clowns.
Rick Reilly is a lib. He tweeted: Jeter is part of the 47%.
Funny thing is, if you asked him why he’s voting for Obama he couldn’t elaborate. If you asked him which policies he agrees with Obama on he couldn’t provide an answer. He just knows he’s black. Or half black. Another Colin Powell.

The Rangers were no shows in the last two world series.
I told my friends, at least they beat the F’ing Yankees.
He’s black. Of course he’s voting for the party that fought a war to keep them in bondage. It’s what they do.
Why does this surprise anyone? These guys are on the “get rich” band wagon, and will be set for life before you know what happened. Meanwhile you trying to understand what happened to the hero that doesn’t give a diddly about you or what you think. The point is: Find a real hero. Don’t waste your time on these self centered egotists. Maybe someone who fought for our freedom at war, not a baseball player.
Don’t tell me. He’s voting for Soetoro because he doesn’t think he’s paying enough in taxes and wants to pay more but the Republicans won’t let him.
Interestingly, about 5 years ago Jeter was pressed by the State of New York to pay his income taxes as a resident of that state, as he was claiming residence in Florida. Fact: depending on the time of year, he DID live in both states, with residences in both the Tampa/St. Pete area and in Manhattan. Wonder why he was so interested in not “living” in NY? Sounds like a Republican at heart.
Ultimately, likely to eliminate a PR debacle, he agreed to pay his income taxes as a resident of New York City (the highest taxed locale in the country).
Obama should stick to anything but public office.
The right answer to this question whether you are an athlete or an entertainer is: “I don’t share who I vote for, that is my business in the voting booth...I don’t do politics in the open.”
But .... he pays federal income taxes.
How can that be???
I worked with his dad for a short time. He is a psychologist, not medical. I’m not surprised, and it has nothing to do with race. The psychology profession is full of liberals. He also grew up in Kalamazoo, which is essentially a wannabe Ann Arbor. Not shocked a bit he would vote Democrat in any election.
I bet he votes for Mitt

That’s why this is surprising. Not the way Jeter is voting - but that he responded to the question. He’s usually careful not to say anything objectionable.
......”hanging with the Holly-weird crowd”......
Really?
Are you saying that the miscreants who inhabit Hollywood
are different than the miscreants who inhabit good old NYC?
My brother in law lives in NJ but works out of an office in NYC. He’s only in that office maybe 12 times a month, but has to pay NYC income tax. We usually stay away at tax time— he’s not in a very good mood at that time!
He should have just said...miss
