Don’t tell me. He’s voting for Soetoro because he doesn’t think he’s paying enough in taxes and wants to pay more but the Republicans won’t let him.
Interestingly, about 5 years ago Jeter was pressed by the State of New York to pay his income taxes as a resident of that state, as he was claiming residence in Florida. Fact: depending on the time of year, he DID live in both states, with residences in both the Tampa/St. Pete area and in Manhattan. Wonder why he was so interested in not “living” in NY? Sounds like a Republican at heart.
Ultimately, likely to eliminate a PR debacle, he agreed to pay his income taxes as a resident of New York City (the highest taxed locale in the country).
