The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress. Simply the greatest plane ever to fly. My dad flew one during the war and she brought him home safely 33 times.

What new tank is the British referring to as “world’s best”. The Cromwell which started production in November 1942? The Brits did not produce a decent tank until the end of the war with the Comet.

This new "best tank" the British are producing is most likely the MK VII Cavalier.

Unfortunately, it will suffer from a severely underpowered engine and will not be this example in excellence that it is being touted as in the article.
