Lynyrd Skynyrd...to be honest, this version 2.0 of the band hasn’t had a 4-star hit since the original band was in the aircraft accident. They do a decent show, but there’s not much worth talking about.

Sweet Home Alabama
Play that dead band’s song
Turn the speakers up real loud
Play it all night long—Warren Zevon

Great bands only live forever if they hang it up BEFORE they jump the shark and are just playing fairgrounds.

Never saw the real deal but caught Rossington-Collins Band in 79, they did Free Bird instrumental with a lone spotlight on an emptly microphone stand... very moving

I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Spectrum in Philly not long before the plane crash. That was a great band. These new guys are a bunch of leeches profiting off the name. It’s a shame.

He said the band will no longer display the flag.

The band ain't Lynyrd Skynyrd from back in the day and never will be.

Nuff said.

They betray their base, for the benefit of people who will never like them no matter what they do.

The operating basis of the GOPe for decades.

Well done to Skynyrd’s management.

This was the last hurdle to getting urban audiences to abandon hip hop and R&B and head out to Skynyrd shows.

This band is over
