It is a beautiful evening in Charlotte, 83 degrees and clear skies. What a wonderful night for some outdoor festivities.

It drizzled on me in the afternoon in the Southpark area, and poured around 3:30 in Mint Hill, where I was at a church meeting, and in Indian Trail, where the Epic Fail Lawn Service was supposed to be mowing the back yard. Now there’s some sun, but still some rainy-type clouds to my north over Lake Park.

I think it would be a great night to have Obozo give an illegal alien's acceptance speech to the throngs in the . . . what's the name of that bank that bought the naming rights . . . the
Panther Bank?
We don't have a Panther Bank here in Cleveland, Ohio. Do you have one in your town?

Hardly any clouds at all, just some high wispy clouds - no threat of rain. I mean it is an absolutely beautiful evening - what they might call a “chamber of commerce” type of day.

The Real Messiah is mocking the one made of sand.”
Your comment brought back memories of one of the songs I remember learning at church more than 60 years ago. The foolish man built his house upon the sand and the rains came down and the floods came up and the house on the sand went smash! There was another verse about the wise man who built his house upon the rocks and the house upon the rocks stood fast.

So they can use the “chance of bad weather/safety issue” as a cover.
If we grant this to them; what does that say about their planning skills as they would have access to reams of past weather data for this time of year?
It sounds like this is normal weather for Charlotte. Would they not be smart enough to have known that 6 months or a year ago?
Kind of like planning an outdoor event in Iowa in January; then having to cancel because it was below freezing.

Do we know someone who can get on the stadium field and put an empty chair on the 50 yard line then take a picture?

Yes, I thought about that portion of scripture, too, when rain first started to wear away at that hideous manmade idol! Never heard that song you mention, but it sure sounds apropos!

Wow...Clint’s empty chair stand up routine really had them libs panicked over there in the Queen City.
Empty Chairs & Parkas would be good symbols of how Obama’s re-election campaign is going.

Weather guy at ABC was forecasting rain in the Charlotte area earlier today. Got the feeling he was trying to cover for Obama because Rush said the real reason to change from the outdoor venue was to avoid the visuals of.......
EMPTY CHAIRS!

What’s with the reports of heavy rain....one from a radio reporter several hours ago and another from one of NRO’s tweeters at 6:20 pm ? I was disappointed to hear Ma Nature was providing an excuse.
