CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The young Texas mayor whose keynote speech wowed the Democratic National Convention crowd Wednesday night draws political inspiration from his mother – who is a member of a radical civil rights movement and who reportedly thinks the truth behind the Battle of the Alamo is that Texans swiped Mexico’s land.
Maria del Rosario Castro, the mother of San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, said in 2010 that she grew up being told the battle was “glorious,” only to learn the so-called heroes were really “a bunch of drunks and crooks and slaveholding imperialists who conquered land that didn’t belong to them.”
“But as a little girl I got the message -- we were losers,” she told New York Times Magazine. “I can truly say that I hate that place and everything it stands for.”

I went to college in L.A. decades ago and lived in Santa Barbara for about 17 years. Even at that point in time, La Raza was very busy and active. I’m familiar with their anti-American agenda. They make me want to hurl.

We go to La Cantera on the outskirts of San Antonio a lot but quit going to Fiesta Texas several years ago when we found we were the only Caucasians there and among the few people in the wave pool who bothered to change their street clothes for bathing suits. San Antonio appears to be growing by leaps and bounds and I would expect the population there to surpass Houston one of these days and be Spanish dominant. I can remember when guys had to wear a jacket to dinner at the Riverwalk so this is all quite sad.

After tiring of kicking his own countryman’s balls down in Mexico,
Antonio Lopez De Santa Ana decided to come up to Texas and kick some balls there.
He had some initial success at the Alamo, but then got his own nuts
busted by a smaller force of Texans led by a much better ball buster named Sam Houston.
Moral of the story....
When you decide to kick your own people’s nuts (Texas WAS a part of Mexico then) you had better be prepared for the consequences...
That usually includes loss of territory when you lose... Ask the British they know.

Cabeza de Vaca’s account of the years he was a slave of an Indian tribe near the Texas coast is very interesting. He mentions two tribes who killed all their baby girls at birth and fed their bodies to the dogs. Quaint. (They obtained wives from other tribes.)
After reading mama Castro’s remarks I detest la raza commies and their Marxist communist comrades even more than before.
I have a relative who died at the Alamo defending the Republic of Texas. As of now this battle against the Marxist la raza commies has become even more personal for me than ever before.
