The Tomboy character Jo went on a nun's retreat in one episode and decided to become a nun. She wanted to slow down and thank God,and do something worthwhile. Also,Mrs. Garrett mentioned her faith and that no one could shake it.
I was floored! They mentioned God in a positive way,not a mocking way. Why can't more shows be like this?
Lisa is on this season’s Survivor!
I remember the facts of life very well, all of the stupid sitcoms like Maude, Laverne and Shirley , Archie bunker, the Doctor and Lawyer and cop shows were all liberal and a front runner for what we have today which equals Obama and the homosexual agenda.
While the Doctor, lawyer and cop shows depicted the real people in a society hinting at socialism, people like Laverne and Shirley , Archie bunker hinted at the people of the masses too stupid to pour water out of a boot.
And Maude, the he man of the house, David Casidy the beautiful boy that may make a man forget that he was not a girl.
Yes i watched a little of all of those shows while turning the knob trying to find something fit to watch.
After realizing how worthless i was getting by doing that i quit watching TV and have not had it in my house for over 25 years.
Did i say worthless? just to be honest i have not noticed much difference there.
Meredith Baxter Birney, who played Elise Keaton, also came out as a lesbian. :::eyeroll:::
Mindy , who played Natalie, its not gay. She is currently single, has been engaged, has gay friends, and its looking for the man of her dreams. She has appeared on several shows saying that people think that she’s gay but she its absolutely straight.
Stop spreading lies.
Rewatch “Little House on the Prarie” if you want to see a show that has God intertwined in EVERY episode.
I remember. It ended with Jo’s realizing that she could have a real Christian life, probably as a married woman eventually, without being a nun/sister. Very sensible. Marriage is a religious vocataion, too.
