Anyone try to buy a copy of the Newsweek with the "Hit the Road Obama" cover? I stopped in my local B&N to try to get one. They didn't have any on the shelf and the clerk said they sold out within a few hours of getting them in. Same with a a local CVS and Walgreens.
This is probably the most they have sold in years.
Mommy what’s a Library?
Darwin was wrong.
Well, Newsweek finally had a story that was factual and relevant for a change instead of their constant liberal pap. I wonder if they’ll realize that truth can sell news magazines or they’ll just go back to their yellow “journalism” and failure.
No, I will use library.
“...their coven members”.
ROFL!!!
As well as National Review. I didn’t renew years ago when it became too left leaning.
A guy with some savvy...could buy the magazine and move it out of New York....to some place in Kansas. Reform the pitch and offer up a lean-Conservative opinions....and itd likely be an easy item to market to Americans. I believe itd move back into profitable status with six months and itd prove a number of points.
Let’s do it. I got $.50. We’re halfway there.
Oy vay! Almost as bad as Eunice Shriver.
If only one copy got into the hands of a normal American, that cover will be available world wide in high resolution by next week.
If they don't want to sell more copies of their moribund magazine, that's their choice.
LOLOL Is she wearing a studded dawg collar?
It’a not only Joy Behar without makeup, it’s Joy Behar
without makeup and sporting a leather slave collar.
An unbeatable one-two punch!
Well, she is pushin’ 70, but she stills looks like hell!
I’m calling this “Chick-fil-A Syndrome”. Tell folks the truth, and you get a big audience.
Nuke the Stalinist dog-collared bitch from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
I was thinking of that poor girl in “Absence of Malice” running around the neighborhood grabbing up all the newspapers with her picture on it.
WHY?????? She is a slightly younger version of Helen Thomas - and no, you don’t need to post her picture either! I just had dinner.
Know it well. When I was in high school, my older sister was in Playboy and my mother and I ran all over town buying them up.
Check your Dentists office - the Doctors office - Town Fair Tire....:>)
You'll never get it back from Barry Diller. Despite the half-clever cover move to enhance print sales, the Newsweak editorial board doesn't have a prayer of stopping Diller from going all-digital (hint: reducing staff by about 60%).
And you can do that right now without the Newsweak brand...
