Went to see 2016 with my son inlaw today. At the conclusion of the movie the audience applauded, but not because it was a heartwarming ending or the good guys won kind of ending, but because someone has dared to tell the truth. It was more like, "finally, someone on our side is daring to tell this story". It is frightening to see just how imminent the effects of Obama's actions are, and that they are all so calculated.
I used to get so mad at Romney when he would shovel the pablum, "Obama's a nice guy, he's just over his head"... I would scream, "NO HE'S NOT, he know's exactly what he's doing"... Danesh Dasusa's book and movie goes into Obama's background and the father figures that have influenced his life; all anti-American, anti-Israel and either Socialists or anti-calonialists or varying degrees of both.
We have no time to quibble over the small stuff, whether Romney is an etch-a-schech man or flip flopper... these kinds of things are small potatoes now. The scariest thing in the movie (I don't mind giving it away) is that many of Obama's policies have made it more likely that we will see the development of the United States of Islam within the next four years. A land mass stretching far to the east and west of Israel, and by my estimate, covers an area twice as large as China. The motivating sentiment being that Israel and the US are Occupiers or Colonialists, and that we must be gotten rid of. Very much like how Germany viewed the Jews during the Hitler era.
This is not the time to stick it to Romney for not being conservative enough... if we loose this one, we may never have another chance in our lifetime to discuss who is the more conservative candidate. I'm voting for Romney not because he's a great candidate, but because he's all we've got. If we can win this one, there is hope of another chance after Romney to pull the reigns of power back toward our original intent, i.e., a Constitutional Republic.
Go see the movie, get every one you know to see it... you may love him or you may hate him, but you will say "OH CRAP" after seeing 2016, Obama's America...
Careful, don’t let nomad hear you say that, he’ll explode all over this post with vituperative angst against the republican party, GW and just about anybody else whose been in the white house with a R after their name.
I have no intention of abstaining from this election - I will vote for the conservatives that I find on the ballot.
If you live in a state that’s not competitive, I have no problem with it. But anyone who lives in a swing state, voting for anybody but the only realistic alternative to Obama, is committing treason IMO.
I live in Colorado which is a swing state. And to me, anyone who votes for EITHER socialist is committing treason.
That’s because you live in a deluded fantasy world. You’re supporting a third world petty dictator in Obama.. Congratulations.
So when Bush II trampled on our freedom and pushed through the Patriot Act ... where were the principled GOP representatives that put a stop to it?
When TARP came to the House and Senate floor for a vote, .... where were the principled GOP politicians that cried foul and voted it down?
When the brand new entitlement of prescription drugs (Medicare Part D) unfairly granted millions of citizens benefits that could not be enjoyed by everyone ... where were the principled GOP establishment?
I’ll tell you where they were - they were on the team pushing the programs. They were cheering at how good the program was. They shut down any opposition from GOP members. Threatening them with a lack of party support and the loss of their seat.
Yet you seem to think that somehow, over the last four years, the same party has suddenly gotten “religion” and would not support Romney and his plan to implement more socialism on the US?
Who is living in the fantasy world now?
No, I live in reality where there’s only one of two people who will be the next President of the United States.
You are fringe sir. Mentally deranged infact.
I don’t need to see it
My BP meds are for normal day to day
TT
So to you, holding to one’s principles is a mental derangement. That compromising one values is the only way to live in this world. I now truly understand your side of the argument. What a sad, sad world you must live in.
You have my pity.
Nope. Myself, and everybody else on the planet live life everyday and sometimes in life you come across two unappealing options and you have to make the best decision for ourselves and our families. We don’t crawl up into a ball and throw a fit like a 3 year old child everytime it occurs, which is what supposed responsible conservatives like yourself love to do.
I am a conservative who happens be registered as a Republican. I am not a republican, party at all costs ideologue. So given the fact that Republicans no longer want me or people like me in the party, I am going to go advance the cause of conservatives in other ways. Such as using my vote to affect the major/minor party standing in accordance with the laws of the state of Colorado. Maybe the GOPe will learn the lesson of not alienating the base, maybe not.
But let me ask you this question - lets say the GOP keeps moving to the left. A wholly not unreasonable assertion given the list of candidates since 1990. At what point does the GOP candidate become so alien from your believes that you could no longer support that candidate?
Perhaps it would be the government take over of health care?
Perhaps it would be supporting anti-2nd amendment legislation?
Perhaps it would be supporting bigger government?
Perhaps it would be abortion (Romney was pro-choice before being pro-life)
Perhaps it would be supporting the gay agenda?
I could go on but that was more than enough for me. What is your “last straw”? Or do you freely admit that you are a party at all costs ideologue
foff

That’s one of the few things in the movie I did not take seriously. Muslims always fight each other. They are tribal. They will never unite.
We get it......anyone short of Reagan is not worth voting for. So throw in the towel everyone.
