Male birth-control is the medical equivalent of the electric car — the gender-turnaround makes liberals feel warm-and-fuzzy ... but nobody actually wants to buy it.

“Trust me, I’m on the Pill for Men”?
1. I don’t think many intelligent women would believe that.
2. I don’t see much benefit in an option that increases the spread of disease for those engaged in casual sex.
3. Within marriage, I think people are happier if the person who gets pregnant when something goes wrong is responsible for taking the pill if that is the option of choice.

They’ve already got a birth control pill for men: Flomax. Take as directed, and you can pee pretty good, but not squirt. Any takers?

The hope of single men of all ages, from 15 to 70.
This will cause a total disruption in the power balance in dating, females will be forced to change, to regain any control.

Heh! Proscar does that too! I finally decided that interrupted sleep was better than the alternative.

Considering all the undesirable side effects from the female contraceptive pill, I have no doubt the male pill will turn out to be equally bad.
The Chinese came out with a male pill several years ago: gossypol. Here's what it does:Nausea, emesis, anorexia, diarrhea, altered taste sensation, small intestine obstruction, and fatigue have been recorded in clinical trials. The irreversible effects of gossypol on male fertility have been well documented, as has the incidence of hypokalemia. (http://www.drugs.com/npp/gossypol.html)
Don't say you weren't warned.
