I have often wondered how they would defend themselves in the wild. I would really like to see them fend off a panther with words (because guns are evil, you know) since they long for this lifestyle. What a bunch of maroons!

Hmmm ... lets examine the claims:
"No stress" ... except for wondering where the next meal will come from, or whether your kid will make it past age 1, or whether the witch-doctor can do anything for grandma ...
"No bombs" ... yeah ... because dying of sepsis from an arrow in the gut is such a lovely way to go ...
"No Homeless" ... fat lot of good it does them when the best off live worse than homeless folks in the USA.
"No crime or prisons" ... stuff and nonsense. Rape and incest, at least, are rampant in jungle tribes.
"No junk food" ... right, because grubs and roast monkey are just so good for you.
"No external debt" ... no money, either. No wealth. Nothing but living from day to day ... try it some time. It sucks.
"No pollution" ... except for shitting in their water supply.
"No poverty" ... WTF??? They have nothing BUT poverty.
"And some people call them ... PRIMITIVE" ... because that's exactly what they are.
Perhaps the “no crime” is bcs they’re bearing arms...?

If it weren’t for the nanny state these liberals created, along with it’s associated taxes and regulations, the vast majority of people in “civilization” could live much closer to these “primitives”.
And I don’t mean living without modern medicine and conveniences - I mean living without having to devote better than half your life in servitude to the State.
We used to be a nation of family farms and rural homesteads. That didn’t end because it became unfashionable, it ended because it was legislated out of existance.

Liberals define poverty in relative terms, comparing yourself to your peers. This is why the poverty of socialism doesn’t bother them because all your peers are equally poor.
I encountered this when talking about the coming financial collapse with a libinlaw. Her solace was in the fact that we’d “all be in the same boat”.
