Have they taken any pictures of the flag that the astronauts left?

Curiosity! Awesome!
It looked like a giant lan party raiding world of warcraft dungeons and they finally took down the boss mob and won a +9 helm of puberty

This afternoon I participated in a presentation on the RMS Titanic at the Cocoa Beach Library. Tonight watching pictures from Mars. From the Abyss to Barsoom in 12 hours. My God, what an age we live in!

Forgive me to exude my USA, USA, USA moment, BUT(!),
You refer to the Moon landings.
THIS IS MARS!!! Humans have NOT been there, yet!

It’s “Curiosity” not “Odyssey”! (Odyssey is the orbiter transmitting data back to earth.)

What a great day for the US. I'll have to say it was a nail-biter but it seems that it clicked through every checkpoint without a single hitch.
I can't wait for the hi-resolution stuff to start coming back.

That this type of landing worked has got to help the cause of humans walking on the surface of Mars sometimes in the near future. This is flippin AWESOME!!!

Our company has stuff on it. Some excited people right now. Watching it on NASA channel.

That was a reference to Sheila Jackson-Lee, who asked if the Mars Pathfinder could take a picture of the flag planted on Mars by Neil Armstrong.
