Gabrielle Douglas won the gold medal in the all-around womens gymnastics event at the Olympics on Thursday and in a post-win interview said that all the glory for her win goes to God. She also tweeted her thanks to God, stressing may I never forget the good things he does for me.
Gabby Douglas, 16, came in first for the gold medal on Thursday after superior performances on the uneven bars, the balance beam, and the floor exercise mat. This was her second gold medal at the games and she is the first African American woman in Olympics history to win the all-around gymnastics competition.
After her win, Gabby Douglas told NBC, It is everything I thought it would be; being the Olympic champion, it definitely is an amazing feeling.
And I give all the glory to God, she said. It's kind of a win-win situation. The glory goes up to Him and the blessings fall down on me.

My wife said she heard on TV that she’s home schooled as well. Go figure!
Anagram of USAGold = Douglas
Last night the DUmmies were fawning over this girl, saying how “wonderful it is to see an African-American young lady succeed in gymnastics”. Their typical patronizing speak. Now that it comes out that she’s a Christian? Oh, I could only imagine the hatred they have for her now.
Obama outraged.
She’ll be thrown into the DU Dustheap along with Clarence Thomas and Condoleeza Rice. Not black enough!
zero's the racist ... he hates accomplished blacks.
Gabby’ s faith impressed my daughter. Praise Him..
Zero knows that Gabby Douglas has accomplished more in her 17 years than Zero has in his 50.9657.
Oh! No! The Tim Tebow of the gymnastics world! Groan! The media is not going to like her!

“You didn’t accomplish that.” (with no apologies to either Barack Obama or Elizabeth Warren)
