The wife and I tried to visit the Chik-Fil-A at Eastpointe in Bridgeport, WV. The parking lot was FULL, and the drive-through traffic spilled out onto the frontage road, the side road connector, into the four-lane that surrounds the shopping center. There was no way we were getting in there.
We decided to head to the next one, five minutes up the road at Meadowbrook, located in the mall. This one was also very full. The picture doesn't really show how densely people were packed in, but I estimate at least 50-60 people in line waiting (sorry about the crappy cell phone photos):
For comparison, notice the number of customers at some of the other food court establishments:
No lines anywhere else.
It took us about 15 minutes to get served. During the time that my wife was waiting to be served, she talked to a worker there. He indicated that the store in the mall had experienced about 30% greater sales since the "controversy" began, and that today was the busiest of all. The manager had been in contact with the store at Eastpointe we'd passed earlier as well as the one in Morgantown. Both were experiencing unprecedented traffic and had wait times of over an hour. They specifically noted that there were no counter-protestors at either Morgantown or Eastpointe.
We sat down to eat. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and the wife and boy had the nuggets. As we ate, a lady came around and thanked us for eating at Chik-Fil-A.
Freedom of speech is delicious. It tastes like chicken.
nice skirt up there.

What a great tagline!
God Bless men who are not afraid to speak to their Christian testimony.
Thanks for posting this.
I tried to go to a Chick-Fil-A today, down at VCU, but unfortunately, being summer, they weren’t open.
Woo-hoo!
Thanks very much for your report!
I drove to the local outlet. The lot was full, the drive-thru was backed up and about 15 cars were in the left turn lane of the frontage street trying to turn in.
I bet all the outlets ran out of food before closing.
Every one was happy and having a good time, the demonRAT mayors may have awakened the sleeping giant.
Good thinking. I’m changing my tagline.
Nice.
Omaha CFA ran out of food at 6pm. When I mean food, I mean the who stikin lot.
Bingo.
FUBO!!!!!
My spouse and I actually got in the Bridgeport location. We didn’t mind the hour it took us to get through the drive thru.
At 8 p.m. it was still wrapped around out into the road to get into the place.
It was awesome, despite the 12 protesters. lol
There were several locations in Alabama that ran out of food. The crowds were unreal!
Tried to get into my local CFA. Line of cars to get into the lot backed out 3 streets/corners - roughly 30+ cars. No parking spaces visible within 200 yards of store. I estimate it would’ve taken an hour or more to get in and out of there. So yes, I left. I will be back. It is 15 miles out of my way home from work, but I will try every evening until I can get in there. I figure they had a pretty good day today, I’ll help with the ongoing support.
Wow. We were there at about 1PM.
They did one heck of a business today. I didn’t see any protesters. Were they together? Were they on the side toward 79, or the side toward Kohls, or somewhere else?
On the side toward Kohl’s, right in front of Chicks were about 6, as you turn in, and 6 across the road on the Kohl’s side..
I think they had schedules because 2 left and not 4 minutes later 2 more showed up.
Hey! I was born and raised in Bridgeport WVA! (Well, really born in Clarksburg, but grew up in Bridgeport. Attended All Saints school. Do you live there or just passing through?
