Considering that he was a PhD candidate just a few weeks earlier, I would bet that he wrote a manifesto of his beliefs and reasoning. It could be on a home computer. Last I heard this morning, the apartment is still booby-trapped, so no one had gone inside.

I watched one 'live' report that interviewed his California neighbor. That man said he finished his Masters but was unable to find a job. That is why he went into the PhD program. [So, does that mean we can blame Obama's jobless 'recovery' or perhaps it was the pending regs coming with Obamacare. We can have all kinds of speculation.]

One thing to keep in mind is because Holmes is alive and there is going to be a court case, you’re going to have to wait much, much, much longer for any “manifestos” etc. than you would in the usual situation where these guys are dead.

Folks, hang on to your hats!!! This gent, James E. Holmes spent a ton of money in a very short time period buying about $6000.00 of firearms and SWAT dressing attire, including a gas mask. This loser, IMHO, never had such cash at hand!!!

I suspect that an outside source funded his tragedy. It could have been the “Occupy Wall Street” Obama nutcases or, even Obama’s “Muslim Brotherhood”, etc.!!! Keep an open mind, this act was very carefully planned, thought out and then executed professionally and in effective destruction capacity. Much is yet to be revealed about this supposed “Lone Wolf” who is not so “Lone” as he appears.

Is is reasonable to assume that since we have not heard the political affiliation of his mother, father, or himself, that we can conclude that his is a leftist democrat? If any of them were right leaning the drivebys would have seized on it and put it up front for all to see. Therefore I conclude he is a democrat, left leaning, proObamaite. Is that going too far?

The halcyon days of “discerning truth” are over, unfortunately. I am all for the victory of truth, but if we allow that to rule our political activities it will lead to destruction in the terrestrial realm. Maybe we should give up on the terrestrial realm and abandon politics altogether, but we should not anymore hold out hope that the American population is capable of truth discernment.

1) His father is an Electrical Engineer with patents, and they have a nice house in a wealthy San Diego neighborhood.

2) He was employed by the University of Colorado while he was in school.

3) His apartment rent was about $500 a month.

4) I strongly suspect he wasn’t spending money on a girlfriend, etc.

5) Stuff like his much ballyhoed “tactical vest” cost $106.00, ordered off the internet.

6) I’m assuming it’s still very easy for undergraduates and grad students to get credit cards with surprisingly high limits.

The post on OWS site states clearly that this was a poster submitted vid, that Holmes’s identification as an OWSer is a “possibiity”, and that he is identifiable in none of the video scenes.Nowhere is there an admission and there is no evidence that the poster is even an OWS member. How many trolls post here on FR before they’re discovered?
