If not, then why do photographs of him at Occidental College and in New York City in the years when he was supposed to have attended Columbia University show him wearing a ring on the ring finger of his left hand?

I wouldn’t necessarily say that is a ring on his finger. It could just the way his hand was positioned. For me, this would be inconclusive.

I thought he received that ring for some mooslym initiation. May be connected with that photo of him wearing that dress thing.
Anyway, it’s not a real wedding ring. It has weird symbols on it. It’s a ring he holds dear to his heart. Even had it sent out to be cleaned a few years ago. He was ringless for a while and it was noticed.

Im on mobile, so I never saw the second set of photos until now. The first set, with the grandparents were not conclusive, but there’s no question that the second set, where he’s by himself, that he’s wearing a ring.

There is a picture of him before he was a state rep with what appears to be a plain, gold wedding band on his left ring finger- maybe late 80s? Pre-mooch. I was thinking it was to dispel gay rumors.
Seems someone had posted it or a link on FR within the last few months.
I wonder how much will come out when this guy leaves office. He has so many secrets, it seems his whole personal history is about to burst at the seams. It would be nice if it happened before his election—heck, it would’ve been nice if he were vetted before 2008, but I have a feeling that when he loses this Fall, we are going to know far more about this man than we ever dreamed.
That’s the most likely reason. Many single people, mostly women, also have chosen to wear a band on the ring finger so the issue of their singleness is not made a topic.
