we are happy to have you whenever you can make it, enjoy your time in CA.
But at 8:30 am? That’s not good.
A+++ by the way
it was 83 on my way in this AM at 6:30, it never cools off, and only gets hotter when the sun is fully out. i am just saying it’s not good anywhere, you aren’t being singled out to be fried alive ; )
Thank you very much. It’s not fun. We are still struggling with arrangements for my 99 year old mom who broke her leg in May. She’s in rehab, and they have wanted to know since the day she entered rehab where she is going after she uses up her 100 days. We are trying to make arrangements, and it’s tough being the only child. Mom is described as “fragile, but feisty” by the nurse advocate that we hired to oversee her treatment.
She is angry that she is in this situation, so she is not co-operating always. Plus, I don’t think she is being treated properly all the time (not medically — just personally). She doesn’t hear well, and that complicates everything. She has a great imagination, so she fills in what she doesn’t hear!
This is our 2nd trip, and we have a thousand details to still work out. We’ll be making the rounds of nursing homes this time to try to find a place for her to go in August.
The good news is that she looked much better and much stronger this trip than she did 2 weeks ago.
Peraonally, I am biased to the pic with the towel hanging on his package. Color me not surprised. I used to laugh milk through my nose at the mere mention of Elliot Spitzer, yet he has no problem showing his beady face on TV. How long before Spitzer is running again, too? As per the article, Weiner is cocky.....
WOW! what longevity, that she has done so well at that age recuperating from a break! Good luck on your search. Dealing with aging parents is very stressful. Both of mine are deceased, but my fatherinlaw is 89. He went through an extremely bad patch a year or so ago, but snapped out of it and has been absolutely fine. I think it was depression but we were concerned it was beginning of alzheimers. He managed to turn himself around and that is sans any drugs whatsoever. He is 89, is perfectly fit physically and the only med he takes is a baby aspirin once a day.
the tidaughter is in Hawaii at this moment. I am so J
you crack me up, oh kindred spirit! LOL!!
That’s so nice for her, which island?
OK, saw pics and all, but I don’t know. I will ask her later, still too early to text her. A friend of hers has a condo time share and the grounds look lovely. Will FReepmail you about something.
According to news reports, Weiner is a stay-at-home dad.
Next question—is the baby Jewish, muslim, or “nuttin’ “?
he has a prickly personality
:)
You need to go back to Logic 101. ;-)
Cool, I am also J. My husband was working on a project in Hawaii last summer and routinely got calls and texts at 3am since his co-workers couldn’t seem to realize it was 3am in Hawaii when they were at work! He finally just gave up and would work half way through the night/morning. He has never required much sleep anyway.
what? you posting from a roller coaster? from the mouth of a gator, or what?
Back home tomorrow, where everyone is normal and speaks English.
Listening to teens in the pool the other day speaking french? It all sounds so lyrical. It’s only knowing the content that makes it trite and banal.
it’s good that Sarah’s horizons have been broadened. there’s more to the world than western PA where everyone is white and speaks english ; ) if yinz can call pittsburghese ‘at?
