I made this graph based on data from the United Nations.
2010 was the first year that Chinese manufacturing output surpassed US manufacturing output.
There is no data available for 2011 or 2012 yet.
We can't stop it -- short of going to war and if you suggest that, then I accuse you of blowing smoke.
We need to stop arming China.
I repeat. Lots and lots of our production in China, is building China’s defense base.
Building it big and strong. We need to stop that.
Now.
We need to recognize there are bigger things than elections. Bigger things indeed.
If the world goes Chicom, we all lose.
It’s that simple.
I think it actually makes some Free Traitors mad that there is any manufacturing done in the USA. I mean it all should be offshored in their little myopic world. I mean China opened up the world to slave lobar, why make anything here? That’s how they think.
Yeah I know.
It’s a big thing to turn around such a juggernaut.
With no funding either... Our side is currently and sadly, quite asleep as to what is happening.
Why aren't you complaining about the inflation -- it's not a natural phenomenon, you know. Global wage "arbitrage" wouldn't be a factor without our government's policy of cheapening the value of the dollar.
You're chasing the wrong problem.
“We have 14 ballistic missile submarines. Each one carries 24 SLBMs with 96 thermonuclear warheads.”
It seems those days are about to end.
...next excuse please.

The V-2 was incredibly unreliable before January 1944.
80% of the rockets blew up on the launch pad.
It would have been an ineffective weapon if Hitler had used it before 1944.
When both sides have nukes it will be conventional
From 1949 to 1991 the Soviet Union and United States both had nuclear weapons.
Why didn't we have a conventional war with the Soviets?
It's funny [and sad at the same time,] when a conservative calls people in favor of individual freedom "traitors." I suppose you believe we should give up a measure of our freedom to preserve the common good.
Just like the socialists do!
Businesses are cutting costs and increasing competition, not because of inflation but of the global competition of reduced prices. Instead of raising the salary of a productive worker, ya can always go overseas. That, and companies can easily offset inflationary increases with hedging.
I agree inflation is a concern, but the greater threat will be deflationary outcomes. High unemployment, high debts, etc. Deflation looms large.

Yes, that is exactly what he is saying.
And I for one, agree strongly with him on this.
I guess North American Aviation should have out sourced production of the P-51 to the Japanese during WWII.
We could collapse China's economy by destroying Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
We have the capability to destroy these 5 cities and will maintain that capability for many years to come.
Ok do you have the guts to answer these questions: If all manufacturing was offshored to China would that concern you at all? If slaves can make things cheaper in China, there is no logic in manufacturing anything in the USA right?
A tariff is a TAX and all taxes slow economic growth.
The last thing we need is a slower growing economy.
Why would conservatives supporting new taxes?
Tell me, if the USA refused to drop a bomb on North Vietnam, which would have saved 50,000 US lives, do you really think there is a scenario in which a US President pushes the button? I don’t think so.
Just saying, an American tariff made sense for this person for several years now.
Recently I’m going critical.
I think we should be discouraging Chinese exports.
We either pay our uninitiated and lower IQ citizens to make things or pay them to do nothing and vote democratic. I say a tariff is a great bargain in the long run.
EXACTLY the thing which turned me around.
We’re going to pay for our poor anyway.
Either we PAY them to work and become Republicans, or we pay them to do nothing and become Democrats.
Democrats, continue to grow. They’re now almost completely unbeatable.
Next time they’ll likely become unbeatable.
We must stop that now.
Yes, it would. It won't be. Manufacturing output in the U.S. is double what it was in 1970. In other words, manufacturing has increased here -- what manufacturing was lost, has been replaced by other manufacturing. Consumer goods manufacturing is going abroad. The profits are less than capital goods manufacturing which has flourished here.
If slaves can make things cheaper in China, there is no logic in manufacturing anything in the USA right?
You talk as if wages were the only manufacturing input and that slave labor is as efficient and knowledgable as a free work-force. Both are nonsensical. The U.S. has advantages in technology, educated workforce, and infrastructure. Those advantages, it's true, are somewhat squandered with our regulatory, tax, and monetary policies, but they still exist.
And China, despite it's communist government, is still not a slave-labor country. You guys worrying about our trade deficit with China are not completely wrong about the problems, but you don't correctly identify the causes.
Washington's debt, inflation, and taxes have given the advantage to China. Why don't you worry about those?
